I had a bike once fwiw

This is foolish, nonsensical, contains no useful information, and should be moved to the Resorts board. I never read here, and will never be back to this thread, so say anything you want, I'll never see it, because I never read replies, and I know all about it. So there.

You should run your trailer tires at maximum inflation if you are planning on loading it completely. For me, that's 65psi. Always check the pressure cold.

Last week it was too hot outside to check my tires, so I went out for Labor Day anyway. Today it's pretty cool, but not cold yet. I'll check them around Thanksgiving.

It was nice imho.

I had a bike once. IMHO, it was nice, too. FWIW, DH left it in the backyard and it was stolen. :headache:

FWIW, my brother used to work as a mechanic. An old lady came in one day in early fall and wanted winter air put in her tires. If using winter air, do you need to check it when it's cold?

Do you need winter air in bike tires? What about maximum inflation on bike tires?

I had a purple bike with a banana seat and I wore purple pants and a purple shirt when I rode it because I am just that cool. :cool2:

I remember banana seats. One heck of a lot better to ride on than that ax head that came with my current bike.

I remember having one person sitting facing backward as a passenger(holding on to the handle on the back of the seat) and one person sitting facing forward steering and pedaling the bike. Today that would probably be considered dangerous. Hmmm WWLD????

I was wondering what happened to my bike....

Upon arrival at The Fort, you must deflate you bike tires and reinflate with FW air. It makes the ride so much more magical.

does that mean this thread will be deleted like the other one?

And I didn't get to post....what a drag

(ETA: nevermind....he just changed the name....cool, I can be snarky!)

I crashed my personal bike at the Fort. It hurt. No more personal bikes at the Fort. Only Disney bikes are safe.

Not as long as your wearing a green thong.

I am personally involved in a campaign to increase awareness of the hazards of not changing to "winter air". Around here we must also segue with "autumn" air due to the wild swings in temps. When I get to FW I always swap out the crummy Michigan air for some good old Fort Wilderness Florida air, its just magical.

I took my trailer to the scales and I was overweight, so I put helium in the tires and now I'm okay. IMHO.

I filled mine with cream cheese. Soft and impact-absorbing, and the tire never deflates. I'm thinking about painting the tires to look like bagels.
