The salon bar is now closed. According to a reliable employee (hate to name him without his approval), they are relocating the bar, and it will look "real nice" when done. Wondering if this has something to do with the yakoose disappearing a few weeks ago.

I can't believe WDW would put that much effort into the club if they plan on closing it any time soon, so it should be around for a while.

I :) sure hope so love that place to unwind one night without the kids.

Are you talking about the Adventurers Club?

Yes. The "salon bar" is the main one, by the statue of Zeus.

I believe this is it

I really hope so, this is the one place that I enjoy getting a drink and relaxing after a full day--it is much more fun than a resort lounge. Here's hoping! :teeth:

Pleasure Island has been removed from the Disney website. I wonder if this is the start of the removal of the PI name now that stages are going? Then they will scrap the Marketplace name too and it will all be Downtown Disney.

I just checked: under Downtown Disney, there is a heading for "Nighttime Entertainment" that had a link to Pleasure Island under it. However, when I clicked that link, I got: "Sorry, a system error has occurred. Please try back later". Hmmmmmm

The salon bar was open and unmoved on the night of April 14.

Yup the page has been gone a few days now. If you search the Disney site for any club names or PI then look at the serch results. Nothing except a page that doesnt exist anymore.
