Zena's graduation was wonderful. I cried just like a Mama would.
I have three people staying with us and a fourth arrives today. I have been managing the cooking rather easily..but don't ask what the grocery bill is....

Yesterday I got a phone call that my stepdad was rushed to the hospital. He has a huge kidney stone and they also found a "mass" that they're 99.9% sure is cancer. If it is it's very new. I love my stepdad and naturally I just want him to be ok.

Aside from that, Zena seems to be prepared and happy and Tara has been amazingly supportive....so all in all I'm doing ok.

Awww... Rosie... Sorry to hear about your stepdad... I hope it turns out to be non cancerous (a shadow on the xray would be even better).
