also .....deer, turkeys, and my favorite armadillos.....what a good vacation .....and this was by the side of the roads and not in Animal Kingdom........
On the way back on our 2000 trip to WDW, we stopped at a welcome center close to the Florida line. They had some baby alligators in some tanks. I heard for atleast 6 months "MAMA! I want a baby alligator." I tried to tell my ds the gator would eat him when it got a little older, but he didn't mind.
I see deer and turkeys all the time. I'd like to see an armidillo though.
I never saw turkeys at WDW. I see them all the time around here though.
I saw some HUGE gators sunning themselves in almost dry ponds on our way too and from the airport last time we were down. Yikes!
I've never seen a armadillo outside of WDW. In the evenings, they were all over the lawns at the CBR, kinda like the bunnies are around here. They are neat!
