I got to meet Joe

I ran into Joe Rohde this morning. I was walking the Pangani Trail this morning at Animal Kingdom and he was in the middle of the trail watching an Egret stalk a lizard. I chatted with him for a few minutes and he was a super nice guy. He seemed very happy that someone recognized him and complimented him on his park. I of course got a selfie:[GALLERY=] [/GALLERY]

My daughter & I were at AK this morning & walked by him - it looked he was in the middle of filming. I didn't know his name, but said "hey, that's the guy we've seen in all those documentaries about Disney!" He was near the entrance to Asia - we were headed straight to EE at opening.

OMG-I too am so jealous! I absolutely adore him and everything he's been involved with as an Imagineer. I would probably act like such a giggly school girl if I was ever lucky enough to meet him.
