I spoke to Carol (850-234-8887 x111) regarding the discounted rated offered for CB. (I was checking because I had not received my confirmation code). She said what they do for the Special Rates posted is buy a block of rooms, then resell them. So...they HAVE the rooms already...it's not that I'm waiting to find out if one is available (as I would be if I booked a regular rate reservation). They take the orders for these rooms they already have purchased, then once a week send the info to the hotel. She said she would welcome calls either inquiring how they do things, or to check on other specials they have. You can also go to their website (http://www.ressystem.com/) and check yourself.

I feel much better now knowing I'm not waiting to find out if the room is availble, but rather waiting for my actual confirmation. They do not charge your credit card until they send you the confirmation.

Do you know anything else about this company? I went to their website and found an almost-too-good-to-be-true price on one of their vacation packages. I'm a little leery because I've never heard of them. They are not listed on the BBB site, but I'm not sure if that's good or bad!

No, I don't know anything except what the reservationist told me. As soon as I get my confirmation (and re-confirm w/Disney that I do have the room), I'll post again.

Ok, Im being Noisy now!! Did you have to pay full payment upfront or do they charge you once confirmation arrives?? Website was kinda unclear about this.. TIA

I am registered on the www.wdisneyw.co.uk site. They sent out a group rate of $116.00 per night per room (not per person). When I called reservations he said it was fine that I was from Ohio. They took a deposit at the time of confirmation and the balance was due 30 days before our trip. After the final payment was taken I called Disney with my reservation number and everything is good to go.

I am so excited 26 days!!!

OK, its coming down to the wire. someone please help me with this. Should I book this package or is it a ripeoff??? Sounds too good to be true but i really want it to. I need to make these reservations this week! Helppppppp

Fellow DIS'ers- This is not a new site. It has been re-packaged by someone reselling the resevation system.

I had signed up for their email newsletter. It came from Vista Hotels group.

In fact they are selling the same stuff as always. Mostly Timeshares. While the last Disney vacation package was being sold, the Fairytale one, this site didn't even mention it. While many other sites were advertising it.

They were always sending me Days Inn pricing thats why I finally unscripted.

Ok, so what does that mean? Is it or isn't it a reputable Company? All I want to do is make Resv. on the 116 CBR rate. If this is going to be a scam, I need to know? Help anyone!

I did get my confirmation # today and was told they are charging my credit card today, also. The girl I spoke to was very reassuring that I DO have the room. However, she said they do not send the guest names over to disney until about 3 days prior to the reservation. Guess I just have to trust that I'll have a room when I get there!!

Here is the telephone number for reservations 888-782-9722. Ask if they have any of the $116.00 rooms from Disney Deals 6 still open. Good luck.

This site does not add the taxes on to the cost so thing look cheaper till you get to check out.

This especially affects rooms as the visitors tax is really high!! It is over 11% because it went up since 2001. I think I read it it 16% now per room per day.

room cost $116.00
16% tax added 18.56
total= $134.56 aday

Don't most sites list the prices before tax? When Disney says 144.00 a night, it's before taxes, right?

Our total, including tax, for 2 nights is 258.00 and some change.

Pam

[My final cost for 5 nights was $646.70. This was with resort fees and tax.

But you have to pay the taxes anywhere plus most of the hotel's have the resort tax if the Caribe Royale which is off site.

That $129 including taxes is a very good nightly rate for the CB. Congratulations!

I checked both websites on this thread and the closest I see is $120 before taxes for CB. Is this the same as yours?

My rate is 116.00 before tax. I know they buy a block of rooms (group rate) for a certain time and then re-sell them. So, I'm sure you can't get a discounted rate ANY time or for ANY resort...only what they happend to have pre-paid. I noticed in doing a search that the 116.00 for CB did not come up for all the dates I tried. Maybe, then, they get different rates at different times, also, which is why you're seeing 120.00.

Ok, I have called these people and still have some serious concerns. They are charging me 1,100 for 6 nights and 2 3 day adults and 2 four child hoppers. Sounds way too good to be true........... Da ya think that i should give it a try? I still have my hifs resv. and can always call Alamo and get tickets delivered to willcall... I guess that i have nothing to loose????Help!

except $1100.00

I would try Ticketmania!! Taxes are included and No shipping costs.
