I got some pixie dust on a resale contract

I wanted to share some good news I received last night. About 2 weeks ago I signed a contract for a 50 point BWV resale. It went to ROFR on 5/25. Well, last night I received an email from the resale co. saying there is a problem with the contract and we needed to re-sign some paperwork. My first reaction was "Oh-Oh, what's this going to cost me?" Come to find out the seller had canceled a reservation and 24 points were returned to the contract I am buying, so the paperwork had to be redone to reflect this change. So in the end, I'm receiving 24 points that I didn't know I was getting for no extra cost. It's like finding money in an old pants pocket many times over. Now, that's what I call pixie dust.

Thanks! Yes, it was a very unexpected surprise, even more so because, with my luck, normally I would gotten word that a mistake was made and I would be getting 24 points less....lol

I'm fairly confident the contract will pass ROFR because I paid a few dollars more per point than I've seen other BWV contracts go for. Even though the price was a little more than I wanted to pay, it was a contract that met our needs, so I went for it. Getting the additional 24 points offsets the extra couple of dollars I paid to get the contract.
