"I got pregnant in heaven" - Scrubs

:thumbsup2 :cool1:

That's wonderful news. I saw him on an interview several months ago (when his movie was coming out) and that is when he gave me the impression that this would be the last season. It seemed to be up in the air at that point.

Great news!

I honestly didn't think he would come back. By the end of last season he said he almost definitely wouldn't be back and sang that tune until The Last Kiss sorta flopped and it turned into a maybe, if they could get scheduling worked out. I got excited reading his blogg that he officially signed on. As much as I love the other characters, the JD character ties everyone else's stories together - it just wouldn't work the same.

His blog is kind long, but here's the part about Scrubs for anyone interested:

Okay- enough myspace business. Shalom. How are you? I am good. We just wrapped the 6th season of Scrubs!!!! Fear not, when we ended there were about 9 episodes finished waiting for their chance to air. Yes I have signed up for another year. Although tales of my new "arrangement" have not been very accurate. Needless to say, I am in and it will happen as long as NBC renews us for another season; which they have yet to do. ABC which actually owns the show (through Touchstone) has said that if NBC doesn't pick it up, they will for what would be the final season. So, I feel pretty optimistic that it will happen. All the actors and writers want it to happen. So many of you ask me if we have as much fun making the show as it looks. The answer is yes. We always say, "Okay, I don't know if anyone else is gonna laugh at this, but we think it's hysterical." We find the show's humor very funny; which is important, because there are plenty of people who have to act in things that they don't really find funny. We are sooooo lucky in that regard. It's amazing when I think about it, that Bill Lawrence and his team of writers have written about 135 episodes of Scrubs. That's incredible.

Loved the episode. I was crying. Bill Lawrence said before the season started that someone who's been there from the beginning would die, so it wasn't really a surprise but still a bit of a tearjerker.

I was just reading Zach Braff's blog on MySpace the other day - logged on and there was a bulletin from him that he had updated. He signed on for season 7 so it looks like it'll be back. He said that if NBC doesn't pick it up for a 7th season, that ABC has agreed to pick it up since they actually own the show. So looks like one way or another, the show will be back for a 7th and final season.

WOOHOOO!!!:yay: :yay: :yay: I can't wait to tell DFi. He'll pee his pants :)

As for "I got pregnant in heaven" I wonder if Nicole Sullivan is really pregnant

EDIT: I felt like checking out of Nicole is pregnant and I found this on IMDB "She & her husband Jason are expecting their first child, a son, due May 2007."
Congrats to Nicole a.k.a. Jill Tracy

That Nicole Sullivan part didn't make any sense...why have her on there when there was that episode where Dr. Cox wasn't dealing with Brendan Fraser's death and imagining him. That's who should have been on there.

She's cheaper to pay than Brendan Fraser? :rotfl:

I actually think it's a funny twist. Ben is the obvious answer so it's kinda funny that it's Cox's most annoying patient that haunts him and not his best friend.

Also fits with the theme of the show. Carla was followed by Laverne until she made her peace. The way the episode ended with Ben's funeral, Cox had made his peace with it.

Ok, what I want to know is why Dr. Cox was shown shaving his head in last nights episode, when about 3 episodes back he had a shaved head in the opening scene and then a full head of hair in the rest of the episode? I don't want to chalk it up to bad editing, Bill Lawrence is too smart for that.

By the way, I believe Season 5 is being released to DVD on May 22

Well, Brendan Fraser's death was such a poignant moment on the show, it would have really taken attention away from Laverne's death.

That patient - Nicole Sullivan - had her own history with Dr. Cox. It was her tainted organs that were transplanted into (and killed) Dr. Cox's patients, which caused his alcoholism and depression. So she would definitely be a patient that "haunted" him.

Actually it "sort of" was bad editing...they filmed the episodes then showed them out of order, but they chose to do that.

Well, they sure confused the heck out of me. I remember when the first episode with his shaved head was on, it was right after the Britney "incident" and I thought maybe it was some sort of joke about her (even though I know the shows are filmed weeks or months in advance). I hope he lets it grow back.
