I got our Wiggle Tickets

Bought tickets for Philly during yesterday's presale--they were starting in the 200 section up to the 400 section, absolutely no floor seats. Bought them anyway. This morning I go to Ticketmaster out of curiousity to see what's being offered and I get floor seats, THIRD ROW. Couldn't pass that up. Odd, though, when I heard about the presale I thought, oh, there will be premium tix available to us first...NOT!

Guess I'll be joining others on Ebay selling my other seats! $35 a ticket is a steal compared to what I paid at MSG in NYC for the two other Wiggles shows we've seen. This is all very exciting as I think this may be the last Wiggles show we attend (draining the pocketbook!).

We're going to one of the Philly shows. We took DD last year and she loved it. DH and I also enjoyed it which was a plus. Even though she'll be only a week shy of her 6th birthday when the show comes in Aug she still loves The Wiggles.

i started a thread on the disney cruise line post asking would they pay extra to veiw the wiggles onboard and those folks just don't get it . they think that I'm crazyor something. :earseek:

Is 8 months old too young for the show? That's how old my son will be when they hit the area here.

this am.... was frantically trying to just get 4 good seats for our family! Finally got floor seats -- FLR 4 whatever that means because it's not even on the venue map. I'm hoping it means they added another section of floor seats? (And that we're not going to be behind the stage unable to see) Anyone been to see the Wiggles in Columbus, OH that can add some perspective?

Kate716

We went last year and the lay out was the same what they have mapped out on the website of the areana.
Anyways, we got FLR 2 section and when we got there, there was 3 sections FLR 1, FLR 2, FLR 3 and then a HUGE section in the back that was empty. All I can think is they are now using this as FLR 4. It was a pretty big space to have empty, guess they saw the abilty to add more seats to make more money.

Hope that helps!!! Have a great time!!! :Pinkbounc

If your child likes them, they are not to young and his ticket if free

check out the wiggles website. they state that the presale seats are not always good seats. they are usually upper section. 99.9 % of the time you can get better seats.hot potato seats are the most expensive tickets, so if you bought the highest priced tickets than they should be hot potato seats. and just remember most location have the rows AA-to something then start with A-z so if you got row c you might not be third row but could be as far back as 20 rows.. so check out your venue before you get your hopes up. All most venues wont let kids dance in the aisles or move up to the front of the stage unless they are the front row only! ( we learn all of this from experience!)

that being said we got 6 tickets to the wiggles in Aug at the ryan center in RI. got through in 2 minutes. hope they are decent seats sect 205 row h 1-6

This also holds true for Nationwide Areana in Columbus OH. They were very anal about no kids dancing in the aisles. Pretty bad if you tell me!! I don't know if it's a fire hazard or what. The ushers or whoever they were, even got onto the parents if they had to tell their child[ren] to get out of the aisles more then twice. Now do they expect kids to just sit there in their seats during a show like this??? :confused3 There was not enough room for a kid to dance in front of their seat and if they did, they would not have been able to see anything cause of the person sitting in front of them.
It got to the point I was thinking "These people paid top dollar for these seats on the floor, so just let their kids dance" DD wasn't interested in dancing, she was star struck and never took her eyes off the stage. LOL!!!

I just called my venue because the seating map doesn't say if AA-ZZ rows then A-Z rows behind. THey said my row B is second row. They would know wouldn't they?? You don't think they'll change it after??
THanks all
Tina

Well it all depends on the venue. It also changes per show. My venue has different seatingcharts for each of the concerts there. If they are floor seats then there is a possibility that the person you talked to doesnt realize that they can change but hopefully they do and you got great seats.

Got tickets to see Wiggles in Philly Aug 20th. But please enlighten me on how to get floor seating!!!! I bought my tickets online at ticketmaster's website the minute it went onsale to the general public. But I could not get any floor seating for a party of 4, then tried to find 2 seats together to break it up the party of 4 but still none available. :sad2: The closest seating to the stage was lower level seating row 4 and row 6 Sec 203 & 206 and still paid the $35 per ticket pricing. Couldn't even get 4 seats together on the lower level seating within 15 minutes of ticket sales online. Tried to check seating selection at the presale online but as everyone said there were no floor seating offered.

So for all those who got floor seating, where did you buy your tickets-online, box office, by phone??? Any suggestions for the next time Wiggles are in town?

I got floor seats twice at ticketmaster online. This is in VA though so PA might be different. Once with the pre-order code at the very last minute so they were the better seats offering for pre-sale. Second time I signed onto ticketmaster early into my account info and requested the best available seat at any price at 2 mintues before they went onsale with typing in the info for sercurity and such got great seats second row. I have noticed that ALOT of PA tickets are available on ebay so I would believe they bought up alot of the good seat tickets somehow. I would think it would be hard with the 10 ticket rule but there are ALOT listed there. I'm only hoping I get my money back on the ones I won't be needing. Also you could try VA, DC, Pitt depending on where you are in the state. I'm actually closer to DC then Pilly. My parents are close to VA arena so I choose that one to break up the driving time.

Don't forget a rose {fake or real} for Dorothy and a bone for Wags.

What I understand and read on The Wiggles message board is that they donate the roses to the Children's hospital in the town they are in and the bones get donated to the local Humane Society.

The Roses are collected while Dorothy is on stage. And of course the bones are done when Wags is out. 99% of the time the Dancers in the red coats collect the roses, but you never know when a Wiggle {usually Murray or Jeff} might come out to collect them. It seems Greg and Anthony never come out like Jeff and Murray do. The show we went to, the kids took their bones up to the stage that were able to, i.e, floor seats. If you don't have floor seats and if I remember right there were barrels after the show to put your bones in, but don't hold me to that.

Plus remember this was for Columbus Ohio, it might be done different in other places.

Everyone have fun at their shows!! And Keep Wiggling!!!

I had no idea they were coming. My DS19 mos and DS3 love them! Everything is sold out for their 2 Philly dates... :sad2:

sometimes floor seats are not that great, especially if that are farther back because they are all one level, so the kids cannot see the stage. We had seats on the side( where you would watch a basketball game(, near the stage and they were great seats. Jeff came by twice, so close we could touch him if we tried and we were less than 100 feet from the corner of the stage, just up a level. they were awesome seats. 1 mom was complaining to someone that she paid x amount of money for 5 row seats and her kids couldnt see. imagine if it was 20 rows back!

tickets went on sale last week and they are already sold out in some areas :confused3 I guess we really like them :goodvibes

::MickeyMo We have seen the Wiggles 2x now. We have seen them in Albany, NY. Last August, had great seats. They were a Double Letter row but we still got the goody bags so maybe they were still considered Hot potato seats?? :wizard:

::MickeyMo My DD brought a rose fro Dorothy (we forgot about bringing a bone), and was so excited because Jeff was the one to take it from her!! LOL He's my favorite too! :lovestruc

::MickeyMo It is such a great show and we are hoping they come back around soon. Rebecca

the wiggles are coming to the uk, i think this year. my two love it altho i much prefer hi5(which is also australian) and we've seen them every time they come to edinburgh.

might just have to consider sending dh on the hunt for wiggles tickets as they seem to be getting great reviews.

The Friday night date is in Wilkes Barre...not Philly. I think that is over 2 hrs from me in Burlington County NJ. :confused3
