I got my 'stuff'

It's been a horrible week, and it was only Tuesday night.

Work, school and life in general is just grinding me down.

Just when I thought there would be no silver linings for me, I got home and checked my mail...


And my FTP goodies were in the mail. My confirmation, luggage tags, etc.

Reminding me that in just 35 short days, I'll be in the House of Mouse.

Life do your worst, Mickey here I come!!!

Good for you! Isn't it wonderful how the magic of Disney can lift our spirits I always try to have a little Disney with me at all times. My Mickey watch, earrings, rings, my atenna topper, cell phone holder, and a favorite character pen to use at work. Disney CD's in the car are a must We all need reminders us of the special place we love so much.

Have a wonderful trip and say hi to Mickey for me We'll be there soon.

We booked FTP and leave in 24 days. We have not gotten anything. Did you book it yourself ? We went through Dreams Unlimited.Payed it up front when reserving. Would be nice to get something.

I booked mine myself, hoping it comes anyday now. Seems like you should have gotten something by now, with only 24 days to go.

Shrpgrl, don't fret. I leave in a week and just got my FTP documents today.

Yes, that little bit of Disney magic can always light up your life.

I paid off my package the first week in August and at that time I was told by the CM that I would receive my final itinerary and baggage tags, etc. about thirty days before my arrival date. I wasn't actually expecting it for a few weeks, but I really needed it to lift me through the rest of this week and remind me that I only have five short weeks to go.

These are the times I'm glad I have the DIS cuz everyone at work thinks I'm just nuts cuz an itinerary and a couple of lugguge tags can lift my spirits so much.

They have no idea!!

But, we do!!

Yes, my co-workers just had to laugh at me tonight. Since I got my documents (luggage tags, too) as I was leaving for work tonight I just HAD to bring them with me so I could look them over. One of the nurses walked into the breakroom, saw the Disney stuff on the table but didn't see me. She hollered out "Amy's here!"

They know what to expect now, but UNDERSTAND? Never.

I just had to laugh at your response. The nurses in my unit are the same way. What else am I supposed to do at 3AM? It's the perfect time to tweak my itinerary! But for the record, two of my coworkers have asked for help planning their WDW trips in the spring.

I haven't received my packet and we leave in a little more than a week. We booked with SWT with the DC payment timeframes. We paid on 8/31/03. Hope it comes soon!!

It's funny you should mention that. I'm totally anal as well but was totally operating under the whole "electronic world perception". It completely slipped my mind (until I was reading this post and saw how many days I actually had left) that I have to present vouchers for the FTP. Correct? (No electronic ticketing here!!) I was thinking that it wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't get the luggage tags before we left. Thanks for waking me up!! I emailed SWT and they said that they sent my package via regular mail yesterday, so I should get it (at the latest) by Monday.

OK guys...now I'm worried!

It's now Tuesday and I STILL don't have anything. I emailed my TA Saturday and haven't heard anything. I called CRO last night and they said my packet was mailed to my TA on 8/29. If she mailed it 9/10 (like she said), it would have been here by now, correct? (Even by pony express!) CRO said at the worst, my TA can fax a copy of our vouchers to the BWVs, but she said it is a total pain as the manager will have to approve?? We are leaving Friday morning!!

This is the first time we went through a TA for WDW. Might be rethinking.
