I Got My Mypoints Gift Certs.!!!!!

With all the talk about United Airlines taking over MyPoints I decided this weekend to spend my points so they wouldn't get unused in case something went awry with the merge.

I had like 7,000 points.... (this was like Saturday afternoon) I spent my points on 2 GC and some pearl items form ICE.com.....

AND MY GCs SHOWED UP WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON IN MY MAIL BOX!!!!!!

I expected them to be WAAAAYYYYYY late (nnever did this b4) and esp with all the hubub that mypoinnts was merging....

But 3 days??? How kewl is that!!!

I ordered a gc for The Rainforest Cafe last week and got it this week also.But infortunately it looks like I wont be able to use it.Most people here were saying the gc's for this had no expiry and other gc's from other places were good for two years.On my gc it says it expires one year from date of issue in this case July 11,2002.We arent going down to Disney until Dec,2002.Oh well lesson learned.But they sure were fast.

I ALSO DECIDED TO CASH OUT - I HAD A BUNCH OF POINTS, BUT AFTER THE BEENZ FIASCO I DIDN'T WANT TO TRY AND ACCUMULATE A LARGE AMOUNT OF POINTS. I GOT A TOYS R US GCARD. I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE MONTHS, BUT IT CAME 4 DAYS LATER!!! SOMETIMES YOU NEVER KNOW - HUH!
