I got my lithograph for NOT extending at OKW

Yes, I think a good idea is to tape the certificate to the back of the print so it will have its history attached to it.

We got ours today, and I agree-it's so pretty. But there was no note or anything, just a cardboard envelope with a lithograph in it. If it weren't for the DISers, I would have no idea why we got it (although I'm still not sure-I don't remember responding about the extension).

I just went over, pulled the envelope apart, dumped it upside down and shook it. Nothing. Oh,well-the picture's still very pretty and we're glad we got it.

I don't know that I'll actually put it up, but it is pretty nice. DDsoon2be7 loves the Sandcastle water slide, so I'll probably offer it to her.

The best part, however, was discovered by our dog. DD has a little Morky puppy and she got ahold of the shipping folder. She chewed it to bits, but after she did, we found the $500 gift card that apparently got wedged down in the bottom of the thing. Now, THAT was cool!

We bought our OKW resale during that time also, and when I was finalizing things for my VGC addon the CM mentioned I hadn't signed anything about the extension. I thought the previous owners would have done that, but they hadn't. So I'll be getting my extension refusal thing in the mail to get notarized and send back. Hope I get the litho. You might call and ask about it since you may also need to sign the extension paperwork.

No, CarolA, I dont think it will be worth anything one day, but my favorite show is Antique RoadShow and having a little history to share always makes those pictures a little more interesting Who knows, maybe everyone that declined will throw their litho away and 100 years from now, my heirs will take that Litho to ARS and they will need to explain how it came to be so they can collect their million dollars.
