I called the 800 # at 7:00 and was on hold for about 15 minutes. Was able to get 2 woods view rooms at WL for $175 each for 4-14/4-24. AKL Savannah view was offered at $209. Not a great rate, but better than the AAA rate...now to wait for AP rates!

No, I didn't request any specific loop. I asked her if she knew if there was one that was "better". She said that she couldn't think of one certain loop that was requested more often than another. So, we'll take what we get. I'm getting so excited about this trip.

Mousy In Canada: same thing happened to me, too. I called last night and got an AP rate "just in case". But then cancelled it for this rate so now I don't need to buy an AP. We also are only getting 5 day hoppers.

While on hold (32 minutes) I was able to get CSR for $85 on the AAA website.

I tried right at 7 am EST but the high rates kepts coming on, I kept trying various resorts and finally the 85 rate appeared and I got the confimation! 1/12-17

I've been holding for 14 minutes. I have a reservation for two rooms at POFQ for 2/12/05 (one night before our Disney cruise). I'm going to inquire about AKL. It would be nice to stay at a resort I haven't tried yet. We plan to have dinner at Boma anyway, so AKL would be perfect.

After 20 minutes on hold, I passed the phone to DH and he got through in seconds!

$54/night (total) at ASMo, 1/26-1/29. This was a Florida Resident rate..

I had regular phone on one ear and cell phone on the other. The musical hell I was in was different on each ear. I am still spinning from that.

I forgot to post what the $80 I saved was off of. The code brought AKL Concierge to $395.?? a night. The AAA rate had been $411.?? a night.

I just booked a standard view Wilderness Lodge for $161.00 per night for 4/6/05 - 4/10/05! Considering this is peak season, I think these rates are pretty good for a deluxe. Now I just have call Sheraton Vistana Resort to book my timeshare preview that I've already prepaid for 4/3/05 - 4/6/05. $149, for 3 nights in a villa ain't bad, plus they're giving me $100 for my trouble. So I guess it's really just $50 for 3 nights after the bonus. So lets's see: $149 for 3 nts at Vistana, and $718 for 4 nts at WL brings me to a grand total of $867 for a 7-nights of deluxe lodging. Woo Hoo!

Called at 7 AM - just got off the phone at 7:30 !! Was on hold for about 15 minutes - they're busy!

Was first told that all hotels were blocked off for my dates (2/4- 2/6) - I asked her to check with the code and said I knew people had gotten the AP rate for AKL - she insisted that none of the hotels had availability for those dates. Determined not to give up, I asked her to check the regular rates for me at AKL for those dates - low and behold, she came back on and said - "hold on, I think I can help you here" (very nice, though mistaken, CM this morning!). . . yeah !! - 2 rooms, savannah view @ 151.00 + tax =168.21. She did not have any concierge rooms available - really wanted to take my friends on Sunrise Savannah - Oh well, I'm so excited to be going back to AKL!

Anyone know what's going on that weekend? CM didn't know - is that Mardis Gras?
