I got into College!

Rider University and I get 12,000 a year. And an audition date, I'm in the running for a full acting scholarship!

and West Virginia University! Their Financial Aid hasn't been sent yet, but they called and it looks good!

They're my safe schools. I still have yet to hear from my top 2 choices Syracuse and Ithaca.

Totally makes up for the rejection I got from Elon in December!

I'm so excited! At least I know I have 2 schools I can go to!

My DD23 just graduated from WVU in May. She was on a scholarship in the theatre department. She got her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Technical Theater and Design. She is now working at Disney World at AK.

She loved the school. Did you get a chance to visit? The town is wonderful and the people there really support their Mountaineers. We were from South Jersey also when she attended. We just recently moved to SC. There are lots of kids there from NJ.

I graduated from Rider this past may! Great school. And their Fine Arts program is very good as well. It's developed a lot over the past few years. Break a leg with your audition. I know how stressful it is.

My DD has applied to WVU (we just did it a few days ago). It is also her *safe* school. Unfortunately, she will probably get in but not be able to go. I don't think I can swing the out-of-state tuition and there is no financial aid/scholarships in the future.

Congrats!!! WVU is my favorite school in the world. My whole family went there (yes, my whole family- dad, mom, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc etc). They all had an amazing experience!! I would've been there if we hadn't move to FL.. but I'm an 'eer at heart! BTW- they just beat UNC by one point!!!

Wherever you choose to go, Congrats and you'll just love college.

I loooove how easy it is to get around WVU (PTR- it may break down, a lot, but it's helpful when it's working!)
They're student center is also AMAZING.

If I were on the main campus, I'd be at the student Rec center all the time!!

Ahhh!! I grew up in Lawrenceville, back then it was called Rider College. I would go there to be tutored in math when I was in HS.
