I did it... I just bought 175 pts at BWV! I can not tell you how excited I am... any doubt I had is GONE.....

We just closed on our purchase not very long ago and we were in the same boat. Looked at DVC 4 years ago (our only regret is we didn't buy in sooner, but we wanted to make sure our finances could handle the purchase) and while it's a bummer that we waited, we're glad we waited. We don't regret buying in and DVC enables us to travel more than what we normally would. We usually go to WDW once a year anyway! Good luck! My DH almost backed out at the last minute, but came back to his senses!

Congratulations!!! If you don't mind me asking, did you buy resale or direct from Disney?

We went through Disney... they had the use year we needed and the place we wanted.

If you have the finances to purchase, I would highly recommend you do. My wife and I just got back from our first trip home last week.. we stayed in a one bedroom at OKW and it was truly magical!!!
