I Got An Email

Hooray!!! I got the email this morning, called right away, and got a room at the Coronado Springs Resort for $79!! We'll stay there one night, then move over to BWV on a DVC rental for the rest of our stay.

So excited, so happy!! Gotta get a Q&C or two to use at Pepper Market, now !

Woo Hoo!!!! I got an e-mail discount this morning too!!!! First time ever!!!! And I had just called last night to check on AP discounts, general room codes, etc and the CM politely told me nothing right now.

I have to go call!!!!!

Who is the actual sender of the email? I have soooo much junk mail and spam, I want to make sure I don't miss it, if I got one. My luck, probably not.

My husband got the e-mail today too (or maybe last night, not sure). So that makes the 3rd e-mail between the 2 of us. They really should have some sort of check system so that they don't waste 3 e-mails on one family. Not that sending the e-mails out is a problem, but I'm assuming they send a certain amount total and 2 other families could have gotten the e-mail instead of 3 for me.

I'm one of those that got an E mail and didn't know it!

I called last night just on the chance they may have sent it to old e mail address and YES THEY DID!

Unfortunately first choice, AKL Conc had no availability with the code so have a hold on BWI and will check back to see if anything opens up. At 90 off a night it's only a 21% discount but beats AAA.

Crossing fingers for AP rates still to beat that but at least there's a small break if not.

how do they look up and see if you "got" an email that you didn't know about?

The email address I gave them when i registered is my work email, and the company has spam filters, so it's possible that they never get to me? What do you ask the CM to look at to see if one was sent?

And don't you have to bring a copy of the email with you at check in?

Whenever you get an offer (either postal or email) the pin # shows up in your household.

It is non transferable.

i called to check if I had gotten one and was told she could tell by just looking up my name. She wouldnt even take my email address or my old one to check..

When I called this morning to check if maybe I was sent an e-mail and just didn't get it the CM asked me for my last name, first name, and zip code.

We recently moved so I gave her both my new and old zip codes. She didn't find anything and then put me on hold to check something. She came back and said "They (don't know who 'they' are) said no post card or PIN was sent to your address". She never asked for an e-mail address.

thanks to the person who posted (sorry i can't remember the name! neuro patient brain) that this discount was 90 a night off. i don't feel so bad now that they had no availability cause i got 80 a night off with the azz code; and even if they'd had it, my room has been booked thru special needs because of my being disabled and things that i requested and all so it would be a real pain to for them to transfer it all...

man do i wish my in laws could use my discount code tho!

I called this morning to double check if I should have received any codes, but I didn't. Hopefully discounts will come out soon. I already have my rooms booked at WL, just hoping for a good deal to come out and maybe upgrade to a courtyard view. If not, I will still be there. I did receive a postcard last year, but I could not use it, because I was on bed rest for DD #2. So I can't complain that I have never recieved anything before. For those who have gotten email and postcards throw some pixie dust my way please. This will be my 2 little princesses first trip to WDW.

I called and saved $144. over my AAA September Dream Maker, which saved me $515. over the 5+2 package! So, after sniffing out the deals I've saved almost $675. off of my original reservation!

The only thing is I won't get all the AAA benefits, but I'd rather the $144. and I've never used AAA before so I won't "miss" anything anyway!

BTW - AKL, standard savannah view, 10 nights (9-24 - 10-4), Dream Maker (passes included), $2557.14.

Whew! Well, I just called to check on availability of rooms for the e-mail discounts and there was not much left for my weekend in the way of standard rooms in deluxe resorts. We ended up booking the Polynesian (GV) for $209/night from 10/14/04 thru 10/18/04. That was the only deluxe resort that had standard room availability for that time and the CM said we were lucky to get that as it is a busy weekend. Never stayed at the Polynesian (one of the last deluxes that we haven't tried) and looking forward to it. I requested the Tokelau longhouse based upon all I read here about it. Now I have to arrange change my trip counter (with me, that will be more difficult than trying to get an e-mail discount!).
