We are on vacation (sitting in OKW as I type....life is grand!!)....so I have not checked these boards in almost a week. I called yesterday to book a 2BR at OKW for 10/31 - 11/5 on points (we are DVC members)...but alas I could only get the first 3 nights. I couldn't believe it...usually that is a pretty slow time (even with Jersey week). But alas...I had waited too long....nothing is available for 11/3 and 11/4. So I decide to hunker up some extra points and we would move to the CR Tower for the last 2 nights (DH's favorite place on earth!!)...but alas, nothing there available either on points.
By now I am getting a little panicky (we have invited friends to come for the week). So I call CRO unaware that there is any such thing as a code out now for our dates and the helpful CM tells me that I have gotten an email and am eligible for a discount...boy was I happy!! I got the CR tower for $249/night before tax, and CSR for our arrival night for $79 standard.
