Definitely call the restaurant directly. I would bet you'll have no problem getting the exact day and time you want. I called for a party of 8 at 6pm on the day before Thanksgiving and had no trouble when the WDW system showed no availability.

Congrats on your other ADRs!

I also called them the day before we left for our Easter Vacation this year and got the next day at the time I wanted.

I REALLY recommend that any of you going to T-Rex (or Rainforest) get the Safari Club card when you get there. You can get them at the Rainforest restaurants too. It gives you walk-in PRIORITY seating at both T-Rex and Rainforest. Plus, it gives you a free select appetizer or 10% off your entrees and a discount in the stores.
It can save you a lot of time on the wait, plus the extra free stuff or discount is nice. I think the card costs $10 or $15 bucks and you can only get it in the restaurants. It is good forever and they will send you additional email discount coupons and free items coupons.
If you only use it once, it is worth it.

OK, so like most of you, I've been counting down the days until I could book our ADRs for months. Then my big day arrives, and I OVERSLEEP! I was so tired last night that I forgot to reset the alarm. I woke up at 7:08 (central time), realized what day it is, and bolted out of bed. DH thought the house was on fire or something. I had wanted to be on the computer by 6 for online. At that point, I figured I should just call and pray I hadn't already ruined our vacation.

I got almost everything I wanted, although I had to make LeCellier a late lunch rather than an early dinner. The only thing I didn't get was T-Rex in DTD. That really surprised me. The only availability for the day I wanted was 8 p.m., and since it's OOP and I was wishy-washy on that one anyway, I passed. I may try to call the restaurant directly a couple more times, but overall I'm with our ADRs.

Now I'm just waiting for Dec. hours, hoping they don't make me want to change everything again.

How did everyone else do?

Try to call T-Rex Cafe directly they usually have more time available than Disney Dining, I strongly encourage you to call when we were there at the begining of August we had an ADR and we were seated within 15 min but the people that didn't have an ADR had to wait for about 55 min, just call them directly

This is our family's first trip to WDW so I went thru dreamsunlimted. Our TA did an amazing job getting our ADRs. She got us everything we wanted within just a few minutes of our original times. Here's what we got:

11/28 arrival day, no TS
11/29 Tusker House 8:00am - Hoop Dee Doo 7:15pm
11/30 Liberty Tree 11:45
12/1 Prime Time Cafe 12:05
12/2 Le Cellier 3:50
12/3 T Rex Cafe 6:00
12/4 Tutto Italia 6:10
12/5 Ohana 8:30am

Le Cellier is a little early for dinner but it should be ok. We can have cereal in our room and have an early breakfast.

We called T Rex directly ourselves to secure our ADR. We're celebrating my DS birthday and didn't want to risk no getting in.

I can't wait for this trip.

OMG I just about busted out laughing when you said you jump out of bed because I could picture my self doing the same thing.I am glad you got what you wanted. Have you eaten at t rex yet?,I amnot sure about It it the menue look ok I guess?

I booked online @ 6:00am but they wanted to charge me for CRT so I took a chance and called in right at 7:00 am and got a noon lunch, without the charge....now just 3 more months of waiting before we go!!

That may have been before they did away with the nightly Fantasmic, now that they are only doing it 2-3 times per week it may be a very different experience, even this time of year. I hope not but I guess we will see

yep, that's my concern. Plus, with 3 little kids, a long wait in line isn't really do-able. But we'll see. I'm hoping tomorrow or Wed. the Dec hours will be out & packages will be released & I can get one then. I spent 45 minutes on hold today to be told no, the hours still weren't released. That was good fun! I'm soooooo tired of the loop of songs they use after today & yesterday

Just ate there in July and it was delicious.
The portions are even bigger than the normal huge Disney portions. SHARE stuff.
