I got AKL!!

Just rang DVC member services and have managed to book the first week of our trip staying at AKL in a value studio I'm going to ring every day and hopefully will be able to book up till the 21st I was worried that we wouldn't get a reservation there as I had heard the villas go quickly so I'm really pleased.

Value studio, Ive heard they are quite small but it's only the 2 of us so Im sure it will be fine

Yep, its 7 months today and I rang the second it opened! Ive got a week booked so just got to hope now I can get the rest of the stay as well, I will ring every day so fingers crossed
