I got a postcard today

I got a mailer from Disney Destinations today.
It has a number on it to get a 40% off discount on a value.

My last trip was with my father and two of my kids. I made most of the arrangements but the resort was put on my dad's credit card.

The mailer has my address but it is in my dad's name, thus my maiden name.
Can I still use it?

The way I have understood it from other posters, is if the card is not in your name you won't be able to use it unless the party whose name it is in is traveling with you. Hopefully, I am wrong and you will be able to take advantage of this great discount. Good luck.

As long as most of the info matches, ie address phone # etc you should be able to use it. I was able to recently, the e-mail pin was sent to me but had my daughters name. E-mail address was mine as well as home # and address matched so they let me use it.

Same thing happened to me once. I called to confirm that I could use it. They said as long as it came to my residence it was fine. Got a great deal. Wish I could get another one. In this case my mother in laws name was on it. I made the arrangements for our trip and she got the post card the next spring delivered to my address. Disney had no problem allowing me to use it.

It says the code is good until March 15th. Is that true or do they sell out of this offer?

So you got the code with an upcoming trip already booked in their system??? I just wondered if they only send the offers to folks that are not currently booked for a trip.

I booked my hotel reservations last week and received the 40% off without the flyer , which by the way arrived in the mail today. Assuming your travel plans fall within the dates listed on the flyer I can't see why it wouldn't be offered?

I just received this postcard today and I'm so Excited! Wow I've never gotten ANY code yay. Does anyone know if you can book 2 rooms with the code and if you can use the code for two separate holidays this year? Also can you add the dp? This is so great, I'm hoping it saves us some money!

In Illinois, no current reservations, got the postcard yesterday, came to my address but was in my mothers name (she went with us on our last trip in 2004, she does not live at my house and all reservations were made in my name, go figure).

While thinking about this, I have been to their website a few times in the last month, pricing possible dates and packages for a possible trip in december 2007. I have been logged in to their website when I do this. I wonder if they check on that too.

Answers to my own questions!! I called CRO this afternoon and the girl found the code for me that included the full package with dining for the same rate as my pin!! She also let me book myself a room for Dec and a room for my sister in law as well as a room for 3 nights in Oct at the WL! For Dec we both got 1,030.00 off and for Oct I got 753.00 off the package! At least this year I don't have to wait for the general package which last year only saved me about 300.00 on 10 nights in Dec!! Yay for pin codes!!

Hi Stacey, congratulations. Could you, if you don't mind, give us some info on what you actually got - how many nights, how many people, what if any tickets you got, total package cost. You say, "included the full package with dining for the same rate as my pin." Do you mean they added the dining package at no extra charge or that they let you add the dining package to this snail mail deal?

UPDATE. I called today, the 800 for WDTC, and said I was looking at a trip this year. The operator got all my info, had me confirm some stuff that they already had on file, asked what dates I was interested in, etc. I gave her 2 different weeks in december, I'm not sure which one I will get quite yet. Then I hit her with the problem of getting the mailing with our address but my mom's name. She asked me for the code on the mailing, entered it and qouted me a rate for 6 days 5 nights that included the 40% discount, yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
