I got a parking ticket...

...that's 100% bull!!!

The ticket is for having not having my temp plate on the rear window!
Now...take a look at my signature. Notice my car is a CONVERTIBLE!!! When you get a convertible, the dealership HAS to put the temp on your FRONT windshield, otherwise you will not have any visible tags when you're driving, yadda-yadda...
Anyways! NOW I get to take pictures of my car, and provide documentation that it is indeed a convertible and go to a hearing!!!
Waste of time? I THINK SO!

Haha, not when they're wrong, and daddy the retired NYPD detective agrees! lol

Not to mention it was given to me by the rookies that patrol the mall-so they probably just overlooked the fact that it was a convertible...The ticket will most likely be thrown out by the judge!

Just a question . Was the top up or down while it was parked. And if it is up is there a rear "window" for the template to be in? If so you just may be stuck.

The top was up, but the way the temp is stuck on (the sticker they use) it would be impossible to move it everytime I switched from up to down, not to mention kind of a pain! haha That's why they make you put it on the front, so that you have it visible at all times. My boyfriend got pulled over for the same reason when he had his vert, and the cop apologized because he simply forgot that the temps go on the front windows of convertibles!

When I had my Mustang convertible, the dealer was going to put the sticker on the back window. When I explained that I might want to put the top down every once in a while he taped it to the front windshield. I was stopped not too long after that to receive a high-speed driving award and the police officer was going to give me a ticket for the sticker, too. After discussing it with the officer, he decided that it didn't make sense to have it in the back.
