I got a Christmas bonus

Totally unexpected--Not a ton of $$, but enough to buy the fixins for my Christmas breakfast, dinner, and even some cookie baking. A very nice way to start the week. I feel like I won the lottery

I would have been thrilled w/ the $30 target card, that I thought I was going to get.

My mom got a Christmas bonus on Friday morning. Friday afternoon they had a staff meeting where they were told the hours are being cut. It will take only two weeks to eat up that bonus.

I'm a nurse. I know how you feel about the holiday working thing. It was a quick drive this morning w/ the holiday week traffic, but I just kept being bitter about the schmucks who can take the holiday week off

I work at a grocery store and we got a turkey this year. Doesn't sound like much but it's the first christmas anything we've gotten since I started the job 11 years ago. So, one less thing to buy!

DW gets a Christmas bonus each year. That's how we pay for Christmas. Earlier this year, they were told no pay raise next year until at least summer (watching the economy), so they gave the employees a double Christmas bonus instead! DW has been wanting a new dining room set & now we have the $$$.

DH got a "free" paid hour whenever he wanted to take it this week as a 'present'

My company pays bonuses in Feb., as they're based off of yearly performance. We'll get one, though.

My Christmas bonous was...The plant i have worked at for the past 16 years is closeing within the next 12 months..Told us right before our shutdown for Christmas..Glad to hear some one got some good news!

Christmas is the day after tomorrow and DH's company STILL hasn't decided whether they are doing bonuses or not. We have been operating on the assumption that there will not be bonuses, but I just wish they'd make up their minds. I know there are a few families who rely on them.
