The 2 dvd's that I got at the Magic Kingdom where Bambi 2 ( I had allready purchased it at CVS, but I wanted another copy ) and Lady and the Tramp: Platinum Edition and they where each $19.99 :) Okay I know that a lot of stores sell new dvd's at $19.99 but they don't get much lower than that and I did not expect them to be that low at DisneyWorld. I guess I could have got copies of them at Walmart for $15.99 but I don't mind paying a couple extra bucks and it was really cool getting them at the Magic Kingdom :)

I purchased my Bambi 2 dvd during my Valentine's trip ( the last day of my valentine's trip ) and I purchased Lady and the Tramp on March the 5th. Ha ha those where the 2 last days that I was in DisneyWorld so far. Now since this new Lady and the Tramp dvd edition is in Widescreen that means I don't need to keep my old Lady and the Tramp dvd edition. My old Lady and the Tramp will make a nice gift for someone. I am happy that this new Lady and the Tramp dvd is in both widescreen and fullscreen :) I like widescreen better but it's nice to have both :)

I would not mind giving my old Lady and the Tramp dvd to some charity to make a child happy. I guess the only thing is if a family can have a dvd player would they be getting gift's from a charity group ? But if anyone can give me any information about this that would be cool, because it's something that I really want to do.

You could donate it to a preschool or a daycare, that way a lot of kids could get enjoyment from it. I know at my son's school they watch Disney DVD's during snack time a lot.

That's a great idea from Aidensmom - you could also donate it to the "playroom" at a children's hospital!

Good idea, donate to a school or library!

Great idea! Maybe a daycare like Head Start or something where the children are usually from low-income households. :goodvibes

I like the children's hospital idea a lot. I also thought I would mention that sometimes the kids receiving items from charity are from homes that have struck hard times but haven't always been in dire straights. We did one of those charity Christmas gift things one year for gifts for the kids after DH had been laid off for over a year. We had a DVD player but no money to buy new movies.

Thanks for all the replies. I have some good ideas now that I have read the replies. I believe that I also have some disney video's that I will not need anymore since I allready have other copies of them on dvd.
