At least for awhile anyway. Here is a picture of the view from the back of my house. They were planning on tearing out the trees to build more houses, but the plans have changed. We live in a town called Windermere. It is a very old and quaint little town surrounded by a lot of open land. Lately, a lot of the land has been bought up for home development. That's how I got my house. The town of Windermere has a two lane main road with a 25 MPH speed limit. The main road is the only paved road. They won't pave the other roads because they don't want to pollute the lakes. Anyway, the county won't let the builders continue to build unless the road system through Windermere is updated to handle more traffic. The city of Windermere refuses to change the road. I really don't blame them. The people who bought those homes along that road payed a fortune for them. Our builder told me that he lost 100 future home sites because of this. For me, it is a good thing because I get to keep my trees. I feel bad for the builder, but I guess they should have check it out before.
