Look, I have a counter!

There was NO way I thought I would get to do this twice in one year! But with the military deals everyone is offering right now there was NO way I was passing them up!

I called and booked the same day the deals came out amongst my children running thru the house whooping and hollering and my dh running after them saying "No, Don't make me to back to the people trap, you can't make me!" I only booked for 6 days in November, Thanksgiving time.

The same dh who was running thru the house yelling about going back started reading up on being there at Thanksgiving/Christmas and has made me call back and add more days so he can do Universal and we can all go to Mickeys Christmas Party thing, (I will get the initials right soon!) I'm getting 10 days out of what started as a quick trip

LUCKY DUCKS!!! I don't think I could get my dh to go back anytime in the next 5 years. It is just not his cup of tea. (Wish I had known that before we got married )

Glad you get to go back. It's so nice when the unexpected trips get planned, they seem to be more fun. Although when I book an unexpected trip, it seems to only be a couple of months away. Last year the family did 3 trips to WDW and I was able to do 4 trips. This year family is doing 2 to WDW, 1 to D'Land Paris and DH & I are also going to D'Land.
Have fun and enjoy the military perks - your family really deserves them!!!

My oldest daughter and I may be making another trip exactly at that time! Or sorta- Nov 24th-Dec2nd. So maybe you'll be there at the same time?

Keep me posted, we are going to attempt to book a Illuminations Cruise, with another family, but we should have room for 2 more. We did the MK Fireworks cruise in March, and it was great and a fellow Diser shared it with us.

I walked all around the parks wearing my lime green Lanyard hoping to me a fellow DISer and never did.

I'll definitely try to remember to let you know once our plans are definite. So far I haven't found rates onsite that tempt me enough to make this trip but I MIGHT just stay offsite on that trip if I can find a good deal during that time. So far I haven't found the "just perfect" place/rate. The thing is with just us two- we'd not drive..... we'd fly. So we wouldn't have our vehicle with us to stay offsite unless it was a place that was good about shuttles and such. No way I'd rent a vehicle- this would be a budget trip for us. LOL
And we both will have PAPs so -any special deals that happen to come up, aren't going to be for us if it includes UPHs and the like. But as of now, I'm pretty sure we'll go unless something comes up that I don't foresee... just hoping we find a place to stay that works for us that is also a good deal.

Oh and the Illuminations cruise sounds cool too. Not sure how much that would be for each of us though? But we'd probably want to join you if possible.... I doubt we'll do this with the family because not sure how my 2yr old would deal with it and ofcourse it would be costly to do it alone for our family only/etc.
