She is correct, it could be a protestor. However, VMK is NOT the place for protests. It is a game produced for children.

While I agree that protests are not appropriate in VMK, it's a jump to assume that's what the wearer of this signature intended. She could have gotten carried away with the whole "bay-be" game and mixed in things she'd heard of but really didn't understand.

Can you imagine what a child must think, or how frightening it must be when reading such a grown up topic?

The fact that kids even mention this seems to suggest that it's not the grown-up topic we think it is. It had better be discussed at some point; just not in VMK.

A child is not thinking "oh this is a protester", they are thinking that parents are doing this to their (born) children.

Hmm. Born? Unborn? A sensitive child would surely be upset at the thought of that signature referring to either. But I think from VMK's standpoint it's the issue of death that's the problem, rather than the state of the subject.

I totally respect Staff and all they do to keep VMK safe. And I know that it is enormously difficult to keep track of every single thing a VMK player says. As I always say, "A virtual world attracts virtual predators". I guess that I wish people would realize this is DISNEY!! and we should remember the kids in this situation. It's simply not fair to go from a free-chat site to a monitored kids game and use the same content. I hope that Staff banned that person, because they deserve it!
