Yay I recently got engaged. Lucky for me, he also loves Disney. We decided to get married on the 3 day Disney Wonder 5/22/09. I'm so excited I already spoke to Cathy and booked the date. I don't know what to do next besides staring at my ring.
We're going to Vegas next week for a vacation and we're going on the 3 day Magic next month to celebrate my DD's 21st birthday.

I got my ring right before we left for Vegas and haven't been in work yet. While in Vegas, my fiance made up a shirt that said "future Mrs. C****) for me to wear to work on Tuesday since I wasn't sure how to tell everyone. I WONDER how long it'll take before the 1st person notices and how long before the whole office knows. I'm so excited that I can't wait to actually go in to work tomorrow.

Any suggestions on how else to do this?

Congratulations!! When I told everyone at work, they teased me and asked if I was pregnant. (I'm 49) because for a small office, we have 3 pregnant wives right now.

It's so exciting, and enjoy staring at that ring, you need to post a pic of it!

Congratulations....I didn't get married on the ship, but did the next best thing...a vow renewal....and the ship is such a romantic way to go. Have a great time.

I LOVE it! I actually kept jesturing with my ring hand until someone noticed the new piece of jewelry, because I wanted to see how long it took...

By midday I broke and told everyone.

Okay, I wore the shirt to work and some people noticed right away but most people didn't. The ones that noticed said that I always wear a Disney shirt to work and since this one wasn't Disney they noticed it. Some expressions were priceless. I wish I had taken my camera to work. By lunchtime, most of the people knew about my engagement.
