In the Book the Kingdom Keepers, which i loveeedddd by the way, they talked about a character having a soda machine in their room! Thats awesome I would love to have a pepsi machine in my Show boat room.

BTW I recommened this book to any Disney Fanatic

Check here for my recommendation and my poll

Actually, Kingdom Keepers is pretty much riddled with errors - both about VMK and the parks.

Read the "conversations" the kids supposedly have in VMK and just count the number of words the dictionary won't let you actually say. :rotfl2:

I'm glad you enjoyed the book. I didn't find it to be that great and was surprised that a Disney-endorsed author who was given free access to the parks and the backstage areas did such a lousy job in getting his facts straight.

If anyone is interested in a great science-fiction/mystery book set in WDW I would suggest Corey Doctorow's "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom."

The book is FICTION! Therefore, facts are in the mind of the author, solely.

If you want to stick to the FACTS, you can't have a Pepsi machine in your room, Disney only sells Coke.

Um, for those of you out there who are parental units and are concerned with the sort of stuff your offspring reads, this book is definitely not a PG affair. It is pretty good reading, and it is obviously written by a Disney fan, but it is not exactly family fare.

I can't believe I just said "family fare."

Thanks hagen, you got there just ahead of me. I really enjoyed "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom" but it is definitely not for the younger crowd.

And you can't float your way through SM without meeting a very grisly death, and there is a conveyor belt up to the big drop......

Another thing the book says was that character in vmk rooms who were not in close proximity could not "hear" each other.

I loved the book. Although the ending could have been better.

I asked in another thread if the book was written before vmk came out. I think it was.

where can i get this vmk book?
