I found a friend to scrap with!

Ok - as silly as it sounds -- I found a mom in my town who has mornings free (our kids are in school) and she came over two mornings last week and scrapped with me. YEAH. I got more done in those two mornings than I have in awhile.

I know that doesn't mean a lot to you but i was SO EXCITED not to be scrapping alone.

Hey congrats! Wish I could find someone to scrap with. My DD goes to school 3 mornings a week. I love to scrap but sometimes an outside opinion would be nice on some layout problems!

It does mean a lot. I swear it's a secret society. I found out that 4 moms in our Kindergarten class scrap. Only because I said somehing out loud to 1 of the moms. One of the moms and I are getting together on Wednesdays to scrap and we alternate houses.

I have a tiny circle who come here every other week - if nothing else it means the dining room is fairly tidy once a fortnight

Most of them only scrap when they come round here (guess who has the most equipment ) so it makes me feel good!

I also wish I had someone to scrap with. I always go to crops once a month but that takes the whole Saturday and it's $10 that I'd rather spend on more product.

I found someone to scrap with when we moved and it is great! A bonus is that our DH's get along great as do our kids.

My DH is okay with the fact we shop, but hers isn't. My scrap area is his worst nightmare.

Thats great! I know how you feel. I was the first of my friends to start scrapping and I hated not having a friend to scrap with. I finally got one of my friends to join the cult Its so much more fun to scrap with a buddy.

This is making me feel great! I was wondering what was wrong with me that I couldn't find anyone to scrapbook with.

Everyone on this board seems so nice and friendly, why can't we all meet people like that who scrapbook and actually live by us

I also don't think it's silly and I think it's great you've found someone to scrap with! My best friend is the one who introduced me to scrapbooking, and we usually spend our Saturday nights scrapping together.
