I found a dog, but can't read the language on her tag...Maybe you can.

This is a strange request, but we found a little Maltese on Sunday and this is what is says on her tag:

Does any one know what is says? We'd really like to get this little dog back home to her owner.

I believe that the first character, based upon what I have found so far, might mean Up.

Thank you so much for helping! I have no idea what language it is. I have put an ad in ppaper and signs up but no one has claimed her.

She is such a sweet little dog so I'm sure someone is missing her. she was near death and has badly infected eyes, ears, and wounds on her but the vet said she should be okay.

Just in case you are still looking, the tag is written in Korean.

I don't read/speak the language, but I understand a few words and recognize the letters (I work for a Korean-owned company.)

We never found the owners or what the tag said. A lady at the vet ended up taking the little dog in. It ended up that she had a problem with her spine that caused her back leg to drag and a tumor in her eye so we think most likely she was dumped (we live in a rural area).

My daughter who has a fascination for Korean says she thinks the tag says Hamjjuk which may have been the dog's name. Hope it found a good home and shame on someone dumping it out.
