I found a .99 meal at Disney!

No hot water needed - my daughter's roommate crumbles it up and eats it that way - says she loves the crunch. :confused3

I've done that, too. I can't keep track but I think some brands are better for that than others for uncooked snacking. I remember one in particular being quite a bit harder with sharper bits.

I haven't had ramen since college, with no desire to ever have it again! But my middle child was about 2 when Kung Fu Panda came out, and he always asked for "Kung Fu Panda noodles" to eat after seeing the movie... I tried spaghetti noodles, vermicelli, all kinds of things, and he would just cry and say they weren't Kung fu panda noodles... Then one day I saw ramen in the store and thought I'd give it a try, and yep, thats what he thought panda was eating! Ever since then, that's a big treat for the kids, and we still call them Kung fu panda noodles! They would also prefer that over Disney chicken nuggets!

I remember when the Dis used to be fun. Now people have just gotten nasty and snarky for no reason. :confused3

And some people like ramen. What's the big deal?

I seriously apologize if I sounded negative. :/. I sometimes need to just walk away when I read stuff that makes me crazy.

Aw Granny...we all have bad days lol. I guess Ramen lights a fire here on the Dis.

But in all honesty, I have been on the dis for a long time and I just notice over time people have gotten super touchy about everything and threads that are meant to be fun and silly turn out to be a snark fest.

My kids would think that was the best treat in Disney.

So would my husband! We ate them a lot when we were first married but when I got pg with my older son, that was the ONLY thing that made me puke - the smell or sight of Ramens. I have only had them 1x since I had him 9 years ago.

My DH had some dental work last year and the dentist recommended ramen as a soft food...so he lived on ramens for about 3 weeks.

My kids like them, too, but I bet I only serve it 1x a year.

My entire family loves them but I don't buy them often. The only time we have them is if someone is sick or recovering from an illness like a cold or stomach virus. Honestly I would rather my kids eat this then canned soup which we find yucky. I think it is neat they sell them in Disney .
