I forgot to tell him how it works

My ds lost his first tooth yesterday (and I only teared up about it once-he's my youngest). I forgot to tell him to check under his pillow to see if the TF stopped by (not to be confused with the TF's we have around here. different kind of TF ). He thinks the TF forgot. I heard a rumor that the TF didn't forget, but his mommy forgot to tell him to check in the place TF's leave stuff. Luckily, my mom's watching him today and she's been notified to prompt him to look for what he thought was forgotten.

Whew! One time Patrick thought the TF "forgot" (gulp) but it turned out to have fallen off the bed and was on the floor!

One time two different TF's came to our house for my little sister!! One TF thought the other had forgotten and the other TF thought the other TF had forgotten.

Actually, the TF left it there at 5 pm yesterday afternoon so she wouldn't forget. My poor ds just had a forgetful mom to tell him how it works.

CC, he's 6 yo. For their 1st tooth they lose, my kids get $1 for each year of their age that they are when they lose that 1st magical tooth. He should've waited 3 more weeks. He'll be 7 yo 3 weeks from today.

What's interesting is both my kids are losing their teeth in the order the teeth came in. This first tooth out is his first tooth he got in. All my dd's teeth have been coming out in the order they came in. I guess that's how it's supposed to work?

Pete lost a tooth at WDW in December and we put it under his pillow at ASMo that night. Tinkerbell brought left him 10 Disney Dollars, some postcards, and a magnet with her picture on it. It was his first tooth! He was so excited!
