For Christmas, one of our friends got me the Mickey photomosaic puzzle and I've been putting it together since about the week before Christmas (which was when she gave it to me).

I finished it tonight! :teeth:

That was one of the most fun puzzles I've done. Should I consider it cool or scary that I could name *almost* every movie that every cell came from? ;) Like, instead of saying "okay, I'm looking for a bluish-purple piece with two holes and two points", I'd add "and Pongo and Perdita escorting the puppies through the snow".

It was *very* interesting to see how so many of the movies or scenes in the various movies had a predominant color scheme.

Anyway, if you like puzzles and you're a Disney fan, I highly recommend the Mickey photomosaic puzzle. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I expected, with the only exception being the black part of Mickey's legs, arms, and ears. The rest was much easier than I expected and a *lot* of fun.

Now I want to see if I can find the pooh one or the Snow White one. :teeth:

My DH is working on one now!! He's been at it for 3 or 4 days. It is driving him crazy (not far to go ;) ). It is interesting to look at each piece.

Target has a Pooh one Rajah. I think that they 9.99. I need to get me one.

That sounds like a fun puzzle to do - I'll have to look out for them!
:)

I bought my DS (9) one for Christmas. DH and I ended up putting it together for him. DH doing most of the work!!;) It took alittle over a week to finish it. YES...the black is awful! Some pieces I couldn't even tell what they were suppose to be. But it's finished now. We just put mod podge on it to set it. Next a frame, then it's going in DS room! :D ;)

Sounds like fun!

I would love to find a puzzle of World Showcase or any scene from the parks or resorts. Anyone ever see anything like that for sale in a gift shop?

We started putting our puzzle together last week. So far we have the border together. We haven't been home much so it sits there, teasing us. ;) And yes, it is scary that we can identify movies from the cells...

I would love to find the one of Walt.

I got the Mickey one before Christmas, finished it, and have now started on the Pooh puzzle. We have a two-story family room, and it was really neat to look at the puzzle close up, then go upstairs, look down and see how all the colors blended together just right to make Mickey.

I'd really like to find the Snow White one, and Walt if there is one.

I did the same thing. The only convenient place I could store the half-worked puzzle was on top of our entertainment center where the cats couldn't get it, but that left it in the *perfect* place to go upstairs and look down on it from above.

I *never* frame puzzles. But I think I'm going to make an exception for this one! :teeth:

Yes, there's a Snow White one out there somewhere. I don't remember where I saw it or if I only saw it online, but I almost got it at the time and decided no, I'd rather to Mickey. Now that I've had so much fun doing them, I want to find the Mickey and Pooh one.

I know there's a photomosaic of Walt, but I don't know if there's a photomosaic *puzzle* of him. If so, that would be even better!

Liz -- I've never found a puzzle of WDW. Let us know if you find one? :teeth:

Amazon has the Snow White, Tigger, Pooh & Mickey photomosiac puzzles for $9.99 each. I did a search for Disney puzzles and these came up.

We did the Mickey one too. It was alot of fun, took DH and I about a week to complete. We got the Snow White puzzle for Christmas and just finished it the other day. It was much harder than Mickey because the pictures on each piece are smaller. Had to use a magnafying glass! I'll have to check out the other Disney puzzles.

Thanks for the warning, Suzy! I'm about to order some more (may break down and get all 3 others) since I have another Amazon order I need to make anyway.

Does anyone know if the Amazon puzzles come with the poster "key" like the Mickey one did? I've seen the Mickey one in two different boxes. One is the standard puzzle box, the other is more square and taller. I got the taller square box, and it came with a poster just slightly larger than the box cover but that made a huge difference in putting the puzzle together.

I want to try one of these. My kids are 11 and 15, so I bet they'd like them, too.
