What a lovely MVMCP update! I love that you were able to meet up with Kathy and Billy -- the pictures together are great! I am amazed at how many rides you were able to pack in during the night!

The pictures in front of the castle and with Mickey are adorable! So Christmas-y and festive!

So, were the cookies and hot chocolate as good as everyone says they are???

Such a shame that you had to miss the parade.

Hi ya AMY!! I just got your post over on my TR and I remembered that you were OFF on your own adventure just before we left for our cruise, too! So I was glad to see I wasnt' too far behind!!! Looking forward to catching up in the next week! Great beginning though! Sounds like a great time, and Boardwalk I have always wondered about so I can't wait to hear about your stay! I missed seeing the christmas lights something awful this year... So I will live vicariously through yours for CERTAIN!!!

MVMCP was a great night! Magic Kingdom is so beautiful all decorated for Christmas. And meeting up with Billy & Kathy was a highlight of the evening!

The cookies were fantastic! The hot chocolate was too hot the second time but it was yummy too!

I was bummed about the parade but it worked out OK because we probably wouldn't have stopped to see Mickey on our way out if we'd stayed for the parade. It was so cool to see the talking version - the kids just loved him!

Talking Mickey!!!!!!!!!! How cool is that. What wonderful updates. I love the pics of the boys and Billy at HM, they seem so engrossed. You got come great shots, I especially love the 4 of you in front of the castle and the boys with Mickey in his Holiday tux.

I'm amazed at how much you got done and a little bit sad I won't get to see Snow White before it's gone. What a fun night.

So sad that I won't be able to ride Snow White one last time before the attraction goes away....she's my favorite Princess. Can't wait to see what the new Fantasyland has in store for her though!

Love the last couple updates...the photo session sounded wonderful what a beautiful area too I just love the shots you got so worth it huh? I hoped you framed some...they reminded me of the beach shots our friend took of our kids and Matt and I this past summer (photos used in my Christmas card) I framed them and did a collage on the wall I'll text you a pix

Glad you got shopping done at the Marketplace even through it wasn't the best set up for you all...

Love the update and all the pictures of MK decorated for Christmas. I worked at WDW during the holiday season and was always amazed at how beautiful the park was and I can't wait because we are going back in November so that my kids and husband can finally see the lights.

How cool that you got to see Talking Mickey! I would love that but not sure if my kids would since they are so used to the characters not talking. I love the pictures of your boys with Mickey, they turned out great!

It was so quiet around the DIS & our house, I had a lot of opportunity to update, so I did!!

Billy is tall! It was so fun meeting up with them!

The party was so much fun!

Talking Mickey was fun. The boys' faces just lit up when they heard him... especially Alex. And I love how the PP photographer captured that.

We didn't get a ton of PP pictures on this trip but most of the shots we got are good ones.

I was really worried about crowds at the party after what I'd heard about the Halloween parties this year, but it was pretty empty the night we were there. It was the second party of the season & it was a Wednesday night so I think that worked in our favor.

We found those hats at World of Disney when we were shopping for t-shirts. I knew they would probably only wear them at the party but I couldn't pass them up. And they did wear them one other night at DHS.

The photo session was definitely worth it! And I loved the photos on your Christmas card! Do you do that every year or was this year special?

I was bummed about the parade too but I knew it wasn't a battle worth fighting. I guess I'll have to go back!

Happy New Year Kathy! The boys loved seeing Phineas & Ferb and it was nice to do it at the party so we didn't have to wait in the long lines at DHS!

The crowds were pretty thick at Epcot, especially the WS due to the last weekend of Food & Wine but otherwise it wasn't too bad. It definitely got worse as we approached the weekend since it was both Jersey Week & Veteran's Day weekend (on top of F&W). Wouldn't be my first choice if I had one... but we didn't since the kids had an extra long weekend due to the holiday.

I loved the beautiful castle all decorated for Christmas!! The Snow White ride is closing as part of the Fantasyland expansion. The princess meet & greet will be in there and there will be a new 7 Dwarfs Mine coaster opening in the area that is currently behind the walls. I can't wait! But that's one of the last rides opening so I think it will be 2013... which depending on when in 2013 could mean that we won't see it until 2014!

Catching up after taking a little break from the DIS.

Loving all your pictures of the Boardwalk! You got a great room and a beautiful view.

Your anniversary cake was gorgeous!! And...your photo shoot pictures turned out great! I love that it was at the Beach Club...what a beautiful setting!

You got some great souvenirs at DTD! Love the calendar! I usually try and get a Disney one every year and I can't wait to pick up some of the Mickey soap from Basin when we go back!
