Also, is the PUP level? Both front to back and side to side?

That may be part of the reason for your leak. If it's not level and you are running the air, the water may be running somewhere it's not supposed to.

Also, for side to side leveling, I humbly recommend a "BAL Tire Leveler" http://www.amazon.com/BAL®-Light-Tr..._1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1244742339&sr=8-1

For single axle campers, it is SOOOOOO easy. slide it around the tire, crank the screw with the provided wrench until your little bubbles say you are level!! No worrying about blocks, or whatever. It also acts as a wheel chock on that side!!

Ya know....I was looking at the picture of my unit. I DO have the camper level (the trailer part)...but I noticed that in the pics....the roof seems to be higher on one side than the other....it doesnt look level at all.

My AC drips off of the driver side of the roof near the rear....and it drips ALOT!!!! The ceiling is damp on the passenger side. It hasnt started to drip inside the camper yet...but there is a definate bow in the ceiling,and its damp to the touch.

My hitch is supposed to get here today....I may go ahead and haul it to a nearby dealership and see what they can do about finding and stopping the leak. Im pretty much finished with all the inside upgrades...what still has to be done can be done inside my house....so the AC is staying OFF untill I have it looked at.

The redecoration looks great Rog, and you may have a second career option available as the interior decorator to the Fort Fiends!

Regarding the dampness in the ceiling - I think you probably need something to hold up the center of the roof which might be sagging a little under the weight. I'm thinking a brass pole, just about near the recently decorated table should do the trick. Of course, it will need professionally trained installers, not something an amateur should tackle on their own ;-)

From your pictures, it looks like you have the aluminum roof. That's good. It shouldn't sag. (If you had the fiberglass roof, it would probably be bowing and gapping. I replaced mine under "warranty" but still had to pay $600 for shipping.)

You also have the tubular brace on the ceiling that was supposed to be installed with the air conditioner. That's good also.

I agree with an earlier poster that there is a small drain tube that easily get plugged and the water backs up inside or drips inside. Can't tell you exactly where it is though...

If you think the roof looks uneven, your cables may need to be adjusted to level the roof.

Thanks breick...it IS indeed an aluminum roof, and their is no sign of any real damage on the outside, I will check for a drainage clog tomorrow as suggested by des1954 and yourself. Yes...the support braces inside should prevent anything serious from happening....I am a little concerned about mold growth though.

Ive been lazy today....I havent done anything buy play on my art programs on the computer...trying to get a decent design for the outside of the pup....heres what Ive been thinking for those of you interested and havent looked at the thread on the main board.....

Shan said he can clean it up and reformat it for printing purposes. This (the decal) may be the most expensive upgrade so far....everything Ive done has been as low cost as I can get away with. Its surprising how far some fabric and a good staple gun can go!! Home Depots cheapest flooring aint too bad either!!!

Emailed both my friends with pop ups. If the leak is coming in at the air conditioner, 3 things to look for.
1. clogged drain
2. gasket seal bad
3. cracked drain pan

Good luck.

DH votes for the gold pole, but said Shag looking blankets would be a good choice too.

I say put the gold pole on the outside top with a mickey head.

For a more dynamic effect, paint the body of the pup black & then put the decals on!!! Hey!!! If Prevost owners can have their cars and huge cargo trailers painted to match the coach, you can have a pup match your golf cart!!! JMHO.

I was going to suggest the black paint job too but I don't think I'd want a black roof on a pup and it would look a bit odd with a black body and white roof.

You could just paint the sides of the roof black & leave the top white.

We were just discussing this on the decals thread....Id LOVE to paint it black..but Im concerned with heat absorbtion. That AC has a tough time keeping the inside cool in the hottest parts of the day as it is......don't yall think the black might make it even hotter?


Black would be BADASS!!!!!

MICHELLE9343.....covering the booth cushions was actually very simple...they're square, so I just stretched and stapled the fabric to the underside that doesnt show. Im not sure I'd trust myself trying to cover a couch or recliner, though!!! But if you have any craft skills at all....anything can be done with some will and determination.

I use one of them on our wing. Makes a big difference. You can lay on the bed in direct sun on the bunk without sweating. Then again we dont get into 100f range mid 90's at most. Worth a look anyway.
