I felt like bubba gump at HHI

Just got back from a great time at HHI. We bought food and supplies at the Harris Teeter and put them in the fridge and freezer. The little cold I had kept me from smelling the shrimp smell that was in the fridge. Somebody before us, (and the maid did clean the fridge) either caught or bought fresh shrimp and kept it in the fridge. The next morning I had shrimp ice , shrimp eggos, shrimp roast beef, shrimp turkey, shrimp fruit, shrimp cheese, shrimp bacon, ....etc. All the bottles had shrimp smell on the outside of them. We had even bought baking soda boxes so that our stuff would not stink. They did not work.

Please, if you enjoy fresh seafood at DVC resortsm have fun, but please buy a cheap styrofoam cooler and pack the stuff in Ice. THe gift shop will fill you a large bag of ice if you need it.
