Is it too early in the season to have the flu already?

Symptoms started last night at work, sore throat, a little achiness, chills.

By this morning, I full like I have full blown flu! Low grade fever, splitting headache.

Anyone else already feeling like they have the flu?

I don't have a stuffy nose or a cough yet.

:( :( :(

i don't know, but it's going around here too, and if i have to get it, i hope it waits until after monday!!! :(

So sorry, Blondie!

'Get Well' PD for you

I just read C.Ann's thread, her symptoms are almost identical to mine.

I just can't believe these viruses are going around already. It's still only September!

I expect these illness in the dead of winter, but not in September.

I've avoided that one so far, but I was down sick yesterday with what apparently was a 24 hour bug. Did you know those still exist? Really sick night before last, but by 24 hours later I was fine  Two other people at work were out the same day with the same thing.

Sorry you're not feeling well, and I hope you and C.Ann also end up with something that only lasts a day or two.

That's how I feel during allergy season.:(

I hope you get to feeling better soon, Kathy.

I hope you feel better soon.

Are cases of "West Nile Virus" being reported in your area? Symptoms are similar to the flu. An extremely bad headache is one of the most significant indicators.

In Illinois they are reporting new cases everyday.

I've had a sore throat, the sniffles, and a low-grade fever in the evening for the past week and a half My doctor told me yesterday that it's a virus and there's nothing to do but ride it out.

What fun!

Sorry you aren't feeling well. I hope the nasty bug that you have goes away soon. Sending tons of get well PD to you.

I hope you feel 100% better really soon, blondie!
