Just made 2 of our last 3 reservations on opentable.com for our upcoming US/IOA trip....still waiting on the Luau...yes, I know, tourist-trappy, but IMO, that's part of the fun. Besides, they serve whole roast suckling piggy, and that's worth the price of admission!!

Figured I'd share our reservations, what's good for the Disney threads is good enough for the dark side threads, right?

8/10/12-Arrival. US. CS for lunch, Jakes @ RPR for dinner. Early night, since we will have been up since 3am!!

8/11/12-IOA, CS lunch, Luau @ RPR once ressies open up on opentable.com

8/12/12-OFF day. Renting a cabana for my birthday (tomorrow). Lunch at Bula Grille, Dinner at Tchop chop.

8/13/12-US, my birthday, and also my wedding anniversary. CS lunch, Dinner at Finnegan's

8/14/12-Legoland. CS lunch, Dinner is by ear, as we're not sure how long we'll "last" in this park. Hoping the waterpark will stretch out our day a bit. This is our "play it by ear" day.

8/15/12-OFF day. More pool/exploring. Lunch @ Emeril's, Dinner @ pastamore

8/16/12-IOA--> HP breakfast (but skippable, since I mis-judged opening time and our reservation is 30 minutes after early opening. Hoping we can sneak in for breakfast still after we do HPland! CS for lunch, if we get hungry, or maybe we'll just grab a few snacks. We have a Mythos ressie @ 4:30. Going in with no expectations, since things seem to be up and down with food quality.

8/17/12-OFF, pack, do laundry. Lunch probably at Bula's again, dinner at Pat O'brien's.

8/18/12-Up at the crack of dawn to transfer to Disney at 9:00. Hoping to hit international gateway running between 10:30 -11:00, sign up for Phineas, Ferb, and Perry missions, then grab lunch at Coral Reef!!

That's it...input/opinions welcome, especially since I haven't been to US since the 1991-1992 era....been a long time!!

I'm going to move this to the main board so you can get more responses.

We LOVED the luau when we attended 3 summers ago. So much so that I'm considering booking again for our trip this August. I didn't find it tourist trappy or hokie at all. The meal was one of the best we had all week and the show was great!
