I feel like putting out Christmas decorations!

It's just a tad too early. But...Thanksgiving is so late this year, I might have to sneak ours up the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Heck NO, not yet!!!

We vacation in early December each year and we won't even get a TREE until Dec. 19th or so!!!

The only thing I will put out is an Advent calendar on Dec. 1, but that's IT.

I want to enjoy November first.

I read a thread earlier today and some DISers have already decorated their homes and others just started. So I think you are not alone.

I love decorating for Christmas!!!!!!! My DH loves the way the house looks when it's done, but he thinks we have too many decorations and boxes. We do both outside and inside. I think it would seriously confuse my DH and the kids if I started to decorate now.

I feel like decorating too, but will refrain for a few weeks.
I usually don't get the decorating bug this early on.
I think in part it is due to me being almost done with Christmas shopping.

Now I have Christmasitis in addition to Disneyitis!

I have asked my kids almost everyday for 2 weeks if we can put the decorations up. They just keep saying it's too early!

I've begun the process. I just took down the Halloween stuff and have occupied my time plucking and replacing burnt out bulbs.

I saw a few flurries in the air the other day so I decided it would be okay to pull out a few things with snowmen on them...I'll hold off on the Santaish stuff a little longer.

i'm thinking about putting up the tree and stuff this weekend myself...i just love holiday decorations and the way it all looks! i hate waiting til thanksgiving to put it up cuz then i only have one month to enjoy it!!

We'll put our tree up Thanksgiving night, then I'll do the rest of the decorations the next morning. I'm not doing as much this year though, as other years, because we'll be leaving January 6th for our vacation and I'll have packing and other stuff to do after Christmas so don't want to be bothered with putting so much stuff away. I do hate it that Thanksgiving is so late this year, but I still don't like to put stuff up until AFTER T'day tho.

I think I am going to break tradition from doing it on the day after Thanksgiving and do it next Monday instead. Its going to be a busy season, what with me starting a new job, and I have off next Monday. So even though DH will probably have a fit, too bad.
