So my DBF and I are going to disney together for the first time. So my mother (who loves disney) has been planning everything. She gave me a list of things to ask the CM at check in to accomadate my disability. Which includes
1. a refrigerator (Which should be free of charge because I need it to store medication in)
2. ask about a resort WC
3. Ask about getting a room closer to the main building.

Now, when we've been to POP before and they have made these accommodations, but I've never had to ask myself (because my mom did for me ). I'm worried about how to bring it all up when I check in, and if the CM will give me a hard time, because I'm young and I "don't look sick". I don't want to seem pushy or like "I need this this and this"

You should actually note that you need a fridge for medication when you make your reservation. Also...rooms closer to the main building are generally preferred locations and do cost a bit more. If you want a non-preferred room rate you can ask for one closest to the preferred locations but remember that location requests aren't guaranteed. The only thing you would need to wait for at check in would be to see if a resort w/c was available. Hope you have a great trip, and don't hesitate to ask for what you need.---Kathy

Remember there is always the possibility that there won't be a wheelchair available for you to use, so you might want to have a back-up plan.

or the wheelchair could be the wrong size, very worn out, and uncomfortable to sit in. If you need a wheelchair for the entire trip, I'd look into either renting one at home and brining it with you, or havign a nice one delivered to the hotel from an offstie vendor.
