I don't want to "ruffle any feathers" here but...

Since the MK doesn't open until 9am and we have a PS at Cindy's at 8am. Would it be considered Taboo if I drove from our DTD hotel to, lets say the GF, and took the "express" monorail to MK?

I had good enough luck to actually get the rese and I don't want to screw it up now by missing it because we are staying "off site". Our hotel bus doesn't run early enough and would only take us to TTC anyway. All the on-site resort busses go right up to the gate. So, maybe any on-site hotel would be good?

Any tips would be appreciated. I don't mean to "cheat the system" I just want to be at the GATE in plenty of time to actually get to the castle!

I understand your dilemma and suggest that you arrive as early as possible and simply park at TTC. This way you can ride the true express monorail to MK and not have to worry about "cheating the system".

Besides, parking at GF is not a good alternative. Guest parking at this resort is on the other side of the main road and requires a room key to open the security gate. There is no guest self parking near the resort's main entrance. There is valet parking at an additional cost ($7.00?) and that would be on top of your parking fee to enter MK's main gate.

Hope this helps, Steve

When parking at any of the resorts, they will give you a three hour parking pass. They do strictly enforce the "No parking for the MK" rule.

My advice would be to park at the TTC. The TTC will open at 7:00am. With a priority seating, they will allow you to board the Monorail, and get to the MK. However, keep in mind... the Monorail will NOT stop at the MK prior to 7:30.

I'd be very cautious. As DVC CA said, regular (non-valet) guest parking at GF is no picnic. I did that once and the walk is not fun. (Should have done valet parking!!)

Also some resorts highly enforce the 3-hour limit. I've seen cars being towed away, so don't press your luck.

Park at the TTC at Chip & Dale Express said. The walk back to your car at the GF after a day at the park would be a "killer."

OK, I was under the impression the TTC monorail didn't start running until 7:30am. As long as I can get to the GATE by, even 7:45am I should be good to get to the castle in time.

How do I prove that I have a PS in order to board the monorail?

Just tell the CMs that you have a PS for 8 a.m. If they want you to "prove" anything, all you will have to do is give them your name and PS number. They will have a list. (You'll probably have to give the CM at the MK entrance turnstile your name and PS as well).

Enjoy the breakfast.

I can always count on the DIS for advice and reassurance!

Thanks again, DD and DS will be so tickled when they find out who they are eating bfast with!!!:p
