Chapter 30- "The Hills Are Alive...With the Sound Of...Chewing."​

August 21st, 2011​

Alright y'all! This is your last Frumpdate for over TWO WEEKS! I hope you enjoy them all and I look forward to sharing all of my adventures with you soon! I'll post that mini-PTR later, and with that I'll bid ya adieu! I will be live-tweeting and live-Instagramming (it's totally a thing) while I'm down there so please follow me!! And now, the last udpate for two weeks!

Since it was Extra Magic Hours, we decided to hit up some Splash Mountain! We walked right on!

Praise the Lord!!

We went into the gift shop, where I felt that it was about time that I purchased a Splash Mountain shirt. What a successful day!

After that we headed back to Main Street, where some Castle photos were in order!

They were playing Iowa Stubborn on Main Street, which was just beautiful. It inspired us to...

EAT.

It was Bakery time!!

David, the beautiful French CM from the bakery, took quite the interest in Jess.

She, however, took quite the interest in her CINNAMON ROLL.

Look at this bad boy:

It was delicious! Jess had been looking forward to it for a long time and she loved it!

After that experience, we TRIED to leave the Magic Kingdom...

But we failed.

We just couldn't leave!

Actually, it was because I had to pee.

Frump life, you know.

It gave us an extra few minutes in the Magic Kingdom, and I was given the divine inspiration to rename every WDW attraction and insert "Frump" in there somehow.

"Kristen's Frumpharmagic!"

"Big Frumer Mountain!"

"Frumper Vision 3-D!"

Right?? Genius.

We left MK for the SECOND time that evening at around 1 A.M. We got back to the room by about 1:30. I showered and we all went to sleep.

HOORAY! I'm so excited for you to go back to the World! I always enjoy your tweets!

You and I have the same dream! I've never even been inside Wilderness Lodge, so to see it for the first time decorated for Christmas, I would probably faint.

That s'mores cheesecake looks AMAZING. AHH. Perfect since yesterday was national s'mores day!!! But you probably knew that. Hahah.

HADES IS MY FAVORITE VILLAIN, TOO. Why is that entire movie so freaking underrated? Frustrations of life.

This is in no way made up: I'm sitting here listening to WISHES... and lo and behold, I come upon your Wishes update, without even realizing the coincidence. BUT THEN, at the exact same time that I read "Well I'll be, it's the blue fairy," I HEARD IT! It was simultaneous! Weirdest coincidence EVER! Anyways...

Hahaha I still laugh at Big Frumper Mountain. "WELCOME TO KRISTEN'S FRUMPARMAGIC!"

Yay your trip is just around the corner...I'm so excited for you guys as i'm sure it's going to be an amazing vacation!!

This day was one of my favorites from the video series...I laughed so hard at all your different "frump attractions" and at the dancing tea party pics.

I hope you guys have an amazing vacation and I can't wait to hear all about it when u get back!

As a sidenote, I remember you saying that you guys are staying in one of the royal guest rooms for your december trip...we're staying in one for the first time for the first couple nights of our trip and I can't wait to see what they're like!!

The Pre-Trip Report: August 2012!

August 12th, 2012

Hey there y'all! I hope you're enjoying the SIX updates I posted earlier! Exactly 51 hours from right now I will be up and at 'em and getting ready to go to DISNEY!!!

Now, because some of you have asked, and because I love sharing my plans, here is the OFFICIAL FRUMPDOWN (rundown) of the August 2012 Disney Extravaganza!!!

Mom, Scott and Sarah will be coming on this trip with me, and we will be driving just like last year! It's about an 18-hour drive from here to my actual home, so on the first day we'll drive about 15 hours and stay overnight in Georgia (Hi peaches!) and then do the remaining 3 the next morning!

Once we (finally) arrive in Disney, we will be checking into our DVC home resort, none other than the beautiful Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village!!!!

I am SO excited to stay here! My whole family is OBSESSED with AKL, so we're excited that we can finally call it home! We'll be in a deluxe studio there from August 15th-23rd!

Then, on August 23rd, we'll be switching to none other than Disney's Boardwalk Villas!!!!

I love that fountain! I saw it every day in July!

I am so excited to stay here again! I was there less than a month ago with Allie for the first time and I fell in LOVE with it! It's pretty much my favorite place ever now. I can't wait to show my family around! We'll be in a deluxe studio at the Boardwalk from August 23rd-28th!

Now, in addition to 10 days of Park Hopping, Downtown Disney, Resort Hopping, and pool time, there will be plenty of FOOD!!!!

Are we surprised? I didn't think so.

We'll be on the basic Disney Dining Plan, but we have a few OOP meals planned as well. Since I know you're all just DYING to know, here's the OFFICIAL LINEUP:
~ Rainforest Cafe (dinner- DAK)
~ San Angel Inn (dinner)
~ Le Cellier (lunch)
~ Sanaa (dinner)
~ Grand Floridian Cafe (dinner)
~ 50's Prime Time Café (dinner)
~ The Plaza (lunch)
~ The Turf Club (dinner)
~ Boma (dinner)
~ Boma (breakfast- yes, they're back to back! )
~ Garden View Tea Lounge (lunch/tea)
~ A surprise meal! (dinner- I can't say exactly what it is on here in case Sarah reads this- it's a surprise for her and Scott!)
~ Kona Cafe (dinner)
~ Coral Reef (dinner)
~ Crystal Palace (dinner)
~ Kona Cafe (breakfast)
~ Narcoossee's (dinner)
~ Grand Floridian Cafe (breakfast)

I know, that's a LOT of food! But we're gonna be there for TWO WHOLE WEEKS, so it's fine. No one's mad.

Aside from that, I don't have any major plans to meet up with anyone. Jess' and my friend Alicia (Leasha_Loves_Disney) and I are going to Disney on the same day, and she is starting her DCP in costuming, so I hope I run into her at some point! I have another CM friend who I may hang out with while I'm there, and Brenda (emmysmommy) will be there when I am, but other than that no major plans! If any of you are going to be at WDW when I am, please feel free to pull me aside, scream from across the room, or whatever! I promise I'm super friendly and I don't bite! I love when people say hello to me and I LOVE meeting fellow DISers!

Awww, really fun trip report and pre-trip report!!

I'll definitely be checking in to see how your new WDW adventure goes. Especially since you'll be staying at two of my favorite resorts (although the clown slide at Boardwalk...).

And the food? Woo hoo...looks fabulous!! As someone who eats my way through WDW on a regular basis ("Why yes I am having a red velvet cupcake for breakfast, is that a problem?" ), I'm super excited to see all the yummy things you're going to choose. Have you had that nutella waffle fruit thing at Sleepy Hollow yet??? I'm dying to try it, so if you happen to be over there....

What a great trip and I for one am looking forward to seeing what the 'suprise' dinner will be. One day I would love to do the GF tea - I think I just need to make it a girl trip for that since I don't picture my DH daintily sipping tea and eating little sandwiches! As for the rest of your ADRs, we are eating at many of the same restaurants so if you don't see us around the parks and such we may pop up at one of those places.

The Boardwalk and AKL are both VERY high on my list of 'Resorts I'm Dying to Stay At.' (But like... that's normal. Why does Disney have so many fantastic resorts?) You're a LUCKY GIRL!!!

What a perfect night at the MK <3 I watched Wishes while on Dumbo once and it was so cool! I love getting different perspectives of it.

GREAT updates!! Pool time is so great! I feel like it's so easy to skip at Disney because there is so much other stuff to do, but it's just so great. It should really always be scheduled into trips.

YUM, WCC!! I am so obsessed with their milkshakes. I got a caramel one last time and it was divine! Definitely worth a trip just for milkshakes!

Your MK night looks so great too. LOVE your Splash picture. And your video for that night. You guys are too funny. I want to be at MK night EMH right now.

So many updates to read! Coronado Springs looks so beautiful, and I like how you can see the Dolphin from that picture of the view.

Agreed on Wilderness Lodge - it's such a gorgeous resort. I've never eaten at WCC, but it looks like a lot of fun!

I love Mad Tea Party - riding it at night is so much fun (especially if you spin the teacup as fast as you can). It's been a while since I last watched Wishes from Fantasyland, but it looks like a really unique view! I'll have to do that sometime.

You got so many rides done on that evening. I love the Splash Mountain pic - you all do a great job making the ride pictures interesting!

As for your next trip, have a great time at AKV and BWV! Maybe I'll see you at AKL. And you have so many great restaurants planned - I can't wait to see how the food is.
