I don't understand the buses at Disney

Waited over 30 minutes at GF for an Animal Kingdom bus. Yet there were 2 Magic Kingdom buses and 3 TTC buses which is just dumb being that you could take the gosh darn monorail for that. Anyways, the bus made us late. I will not be doing bus again, I'd rather pay extra for a taxi.

If there were MK and TTC buses at GF, it would have been during a time when the Resorts monorail wasn't available.

Did these people push in line ahead of you, or did you not stay in the line to begin with? We have stayed at AKL so I know the bus stop does not have the chained queues, but if you wait at the curb where the sign is, you'd be in the right place to get on the bus. If you sit in the back on a bench, no one is going to know which bus/when you got there.

the crowd surged forward once the bus arrived. I was not right at the curb due to keeping the kids away from the edge but by the time the bus stopped people had pushed ahead but there were tons of people, hard to know who was there first. I think a chained queue is a good idea. I am looking forward to those bus monitors coming to all resorts

But - with a chained queue, you will have couples and families where only one person will remain in the queue while the other(s) will go off to do something else so when the bus does get there, that one person now becomes two or three or four or five and will want to be with the person that remained in the queue so the others behind will now be pushed back. That does happen at the values as the chained queues are *gasp* in the sun and not covered.

So - there's no one good solution to anything unless you want to drive to each park and then deal with the trams or walking. And then some would argue that's not a good solution.

No right or wrong answers or suggestions at all.
