I remember my Dad got me through it on the phone one time. He kept telling me "you can do it, come on, one more glass, just ONE more..."

That stuff is abysmal!

I think it's made that way to make the procedure itself seem like a piece of cake!

Good for you, having it done, though. It is the best early detection device we can use. Uncomfortable, yes, but what you can get from not finding out is aLOT more uncomfortable.

Keep that in mind with the next swallow!

I sure hope you have it done quickly Tammi, not that exact test but I remember having to drink some kind of crap for a test...and it was tons and tons of it and I just knew I was going to puke. Just think "I can do this, I can do this!" It will all be over soon. I'll be thinking about you. {{HUGS}}

Ugh. I'm finally almost done. I don't think I'm drinking it as fast as they want, but at least I haven't lost it yet. The taste isn't the bad part, it's how it makes me nausious right away. I've found one sip of lemonade after a big gulp of the gunk takes care of the flavor.

Hang in there....you can do it....because of my family's high rate of colon cancer, I've been doing this every other year since I turned 30.....it's miserable, but it will be over soon.
