I love your book and I love that concept! What brand of protectors are those? Great book!

I googled "4x6 photo sleeve 12x12" to find the ones I just bought.

I don't know what she used, but I ended up buying from Amazon.com. Got the ones from We R Memory Keepers. They come in different formats. 6 vertical. 6 horizontal. And some pages that are mixed sizes & layouts.

They also come 3-ring binder OR postbound.

Bazzill also makes Lickety Slip albums. Here's a video of her putting one together. Its really all the same idea. No need to buy their product unless you want to.

One of the ideas I saw was to cut paper to 4x6. Print pics at 3.5 x 5 & mat on the 4x6 paper so you get a little more decoration. Funny thing is, I have a ton of 4x6 precut paper. Now I can use it up.

We are memory keepers is what they are. I just ordered more from Joann on line, on sale, but those I bought at Aunt Annie's scrapyard in Shipshewana, Indiana. Haven't been able to find them at any of the LSS I've been in since.

NOW, I just need to get my 10 yrs worth of photos printed.

Slow and steady!! Order them in batchs when they are on sale. Maybe 100 photos at a time. And be particular about what you order. You don't need EVERY photo from EVERY event!

Anyhow, thanks for sharing those links. I've been trying to find some ideas to premake an scrapbook for my Mom to fill. She really liked my Project 365 book from last year, but she didn't want anything that labor intensive. I want to make her a Project 12 book to use this year. I bought the pages a few months ago, but have been feeling very uninspired to do anything with them. Thanks for the inspiration!............P

Update: Wanted to let you know that thanks to the great idea of using 12x12 photo sleeves, I've actually begun our album from our 2008 trip to CA where we visited 6 different areas of the state over 2 wks.

The photos sleeves came in.
2 batches of photos came in so far. 4 more to go.
I ordered & received some really nice stuff from ScrapYourTrip.com related to the places we visited.
And I've already put 2 sections of the album together!!! It was very easy & very fast.

When I ordered from ScrapYourTrip, I even ordered supplies related to our upcoming 2 wk WA/OR/British Columbia trip this summer. And will use the same 12x12 photo sleeve method.

Thanks sooooo much again!!! Its a relief to know this album will be done in no time & BEFORE the next trip. And DH will finally have something to show the guys at work. I think they gave up asking to see photos. LOL
