I don't like 'tude sometimes!

Am I the only person that gets the rude insurance people on the phone? I call to ask 1 little simple question and I get attitude. I was almost to the point of saying "If I knew the answer to my question LADY, I wouldn't have called and IF I had wanted attitude, I would've just asked one of my kids the question!" But I resisted. This time.

She didn't even wish me a nice day. I think she missed the manners line when they were doling out manners.

I went shopping tonight and the woman didn't get off the phone to her friend long enough to ring up the order. She was ticked off about something.

I hope you weren't buying ice cream or anything that would melt, Laurie!

Oh she rang up the shoes, all the while she was recounting a tale of woe.

Mother had a nurse like that when she was in hospital. It did not make me feel secure leaving her alone at night.

Katholyn, my mom's family didn't leave my grandpa alone because of things like that. But there were plenty of kids to do it.

Unfortunately, I feel there are many people in the business world who have forgotten their manners.

You should have called me....guess your insurance is with another company!!!
I completely agree with your frustrations though because I make an effort to provide accurate information and be courteous to people who call me, when I'm the one making the call I usually don't get the same in return.

Todd, I was a little too upset to even talk to her, much less talk to her manager.

Gail, I would've loved to talk to you. I know you'd be nice. This lady needs some lessons from you.

Marilyn, there's a lot I would've liked to say, but I was a little upset (and my kids were in the room ).
