I don't know what to do - need advice

I know I'm here again about flights, and even though we have been to Orlando numerous times now, we have always booked flights as soon as available or as a package deal.
US Airways is coming up the cheapest - Man - MCO (via PHL - flight 735 & 734) 27th July to 10th Aug 2013. 4 adults, 1 child (just as she's 14 next year) = £3976.75

I looked and saw that Virgin have flight sales for this time of year in Dec nd would rather pay this price or less for direct flights than indirect.

Do US Airways have flight sales? If I leave buying till december when sale prices are out will I find that they could be cheaper.

I just don't know what to do for the best. Any advice?

Virgin do sales in dec time you may find you can get a direct flight then or with another airline

Have you tried Aer Lingus we flew them last year cannot recommend them enough. Glasgow to Dublin - Dublin to Orlando you clear immigration and customs at Dublin then straight on your holiday when you land at Orlando. They are pretty cheap 2 x adults bout £1000 in September

personally, i would wait, but when you wait there's always the chance that things might be more expensive. But that doesn't sound like a very cheap deal, so if it were me, i would wait.

When I looked at Aer Lingus for next summer they were coming out more expensive than Virgin direct from Manchester.

The prices the OP posted dont sound cheap to me. I have a Virgin quote 7-28 July for 2 adults and a 9 year old at £1918 Man to Orlando direct.

Virgin for 5 adults for our dates MAN-MCO is coming out cheapest at £4987.20 and thats leaving on the later flight (13.45pm). That's over £1000 more than the US Airways indirect at the moment. I think I'll wait as there's always lots of options. Good thing with being in the midlands - more options for airports as london airports only a 3 hour drive.

We looked at the 11 months out for this coming October. Two adults one child was only working out about £75 cheaper with Lingus than with BA fling GLA/LGW/MCO. What swung it was my Daughter complaining that they starved her on the flight, taking about 2.5 hours to bring out lunch and spending the intervening time trying to sell overpriced snacks! However, the convenience of clearing customs and immigration before boarding is considerable, just remember if you want Duty Free, you must buy before boarding the plane.
I notice in recent news that Ryan Air are making another attempt to buy out Lingus, you may end up being charged to go to the loo with standing room only!

Are Iceland Air still running their flights into Sandford, they used to do two a week from Glasgow and IIRC Manchester as well with a brief layover in Reyjavik (sp?) Price was resonable but the booking window was only abot 6 months.

Clearing customs at Dublin always wins it for me. Not pleased with the news about Ryanair it's like herding cattle.
