I Don't Know, Look it Up!

Does anyone else know someone who constantly asks you questions about stuff they could easily find out for themselves? I find it really annoying. I'm not talking about opinions or reviews of a product, but actual, factual information.

Several of my friends and I are supposed to meet at a particular park today. One friend emailed asking for the street address of the park so she could get directions from MapQuest. I replied that I didn't know the street number, but here were the cross streets, and my suggestion for a driving route from her house.

She then emailed the other people in the group asking if they had the street number. I guess no one told her, because now she says she's not coming at all. I would think it was just an excuse to not show up, but this is a recurring problem with this person.

You mean like my contact out at the home office? Where the factory is? She emails ME - 1,000 miles away - to explain a product or part to her. She can look it up on her computer system or ask the person SITTING NEXT TO HER

But no, she sends me an email...

Yesterday I had someone email me saying the hotel where we are holding an event is booked, what other hotel can she try? I give her the name of one in the area. "I can't find it, can you send me the exact info?" GOOGLE IT! Or call the orig hotel! So I find it for her...then "That is booked too, any others?" I ask my coworker who used to live in the area for some. "HOw far are they?" AHHHHHHHHH!!! I'm not the D.C. Tour Guide!! We have people who CALL the office to ask for the phone number of the even hotel, they know the name!! LOOK IT UP!
