I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

I have seen YeeHaw Bob but need another fix. :goodvibes

So glad you are back in June since I am back in July myself. All caught up and it was, as aways great seeing you.

The Tink nightshirt came home with me as did the Mickey head trivet and several other things.

The blue dress came home with me in July as is one of my favorites. :goodvibes

Glad to see I am not pages & pages behind.

Aw love seeing the POFQ pictures & Yeehaw Bob. We saw him last Oct. for the first time & what a great show he puts on!! Looks like a great meet:thumbsup2.

I love those little pillows!! I think a few may need to come home with me next year. We booked a trip through Lesley (Tim&Lesley) for Oct. 4th through the 11th for Food & Wine next year. Got a great discount & staying at BC!! Cannot wait!!

Being away - at Disney World - slowed things down. ;) Now we are waiting on Jill's internet problem to be fixed. She has the next set of pictures on her computer, and I have misplaced the SD card, so nothing can move forward until those get put on Photobucket. I have the first card and last card already on Photobucket, but the middle card has disappeared. :crazy2:

You'll be there on Jill's birthday. As far as I know, she does not plan to go in October, so you may have to send her some pictures to keep her breathing until Christmas. We are planning on going at Christmas. ::yes::

If you insist! I am also hoping for good weather and extra magic this time. Our last trip was in early December when we only had our little girl, Faith. All of us got sick right at the start of the trip and it seemed to rain a lot, so it was less than magical. This time we're bringing Connonr for his first trip and my MIL is coming along. We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge Villas, though, so right there is already a boost to the magic! :dance3:

Agreed! I think I might like those pillows for my living room for that reason. My list keeps growing whenever you post shopping pictures! I just have to win the lottery so I can bring it all home. :rotfl:

Wilderness Lodge Villas in December - perfect! :thumbsup2 I went over there to take pictures a couple of weeks ago. I love all the little sitting areas over in the lobby. It's so warm and cozy over there. The fireplaces were going even on a warm day, and I really could have just sat there and read/relaxed for a while, if I had had the time.

I think all of DIStown should win the lottery. We could all get DVC and lifetime passes and make trips whenever we want to! :dance3:

me, too, for Yeehaw Bob, never heard of him, and never been to POR or the other resort in twentysomething trips to WDW! Deb

Maybe you can get some time for resort hopping next time. If not several, you could maybe see one new one each trip. I love to visit the resorts, and I really feel like a trip is not complete until I see a few of them.

More shopping! I named a post in your honor on my DLRP TR, because I took some shopping pictures. :lmao: However, mine are definitely not as detailed as yours.

I will have to get over there and check it out. I forget other boards exist!

Oh yes, very much so. But it doesn't make me as sad as it did before. I'm glad it worked out.

I think of you as winter approaches. I am dreading January and February here already, and I know that where you are, you have twice as much winter as we do.

I'm glad we got to see Ed, too. Tell him to put New Year's Eve 2013 on his calendar.

I think I'm an update behind or so, but I might have paid close attention to the price of those pillows...
$22.95 plus tax. Minus my DVC discount. I'm not telling which one might have come home with me...you'll have to visit my TR (whenever I start it). ;)

ETA - Okay all caught up! Wish I'd seen some of those candy boxes too - I got a couple, but I would have loved the Pinocchio one and the Mood chocolate!

I think they had a couple of new candy boxes this time. I wish they were tins. I would probably buy one or two. I have bought the cardboard boxes to bring back for some friends, but if they were tins, I would want some to keep. Don't know what I would do with them, but I think I would want some anyway.

Thanks for the information on the pillows. :)

Your welcome...any time. I loved seeing you all in the new FL!!!! So exciting!!!!!

It was very cool. :thumbsup2

As soon as Jill's internet people show up to fix their internet, we will move on to June 28th. They have been having trouble for a few weeks, so hopefully they can get it fixed today.

I think so many of those dresses are cute, and I think they would look cute on Jill. She needs to get one on one of these trips. :goodvibes

Way behind but popping in to say hello! :wave2:

Sorry we didn't get to see you on the 13th! The girls & I decided to turn our laid back day into a 4 park day! :rolleyes1 But we did it! And got to end the night by watching Wishes from the queue at Under the Sea!! Amazing!!

Well MeMom, your cheering seemed to help out. I was offered the position and they said they wanted me to start yesterday. Haha! I now have the tough decision to make as to whether or not I want to leave the classroom and take on this new adventure. It will be a lot of work as it is an Inner City school and totally different from where I am currently. I do have experience with Inner City schools, so it's not a BIG shocker. Right now, I have that on my brain and my upcoming trip in 6 days. :cool1: I have to go get ready, but just wanted to stop by. Have a good day!

Congrats :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Yay, shopping pics! I love those pillows too, and will likely bring some home on my next trip. I picked up the Haunted Mansion themed one a few weeks ago, and I love having it on my bed. It makes my room seem so much more Halloween festive and Disneyified!

Great shopping pictures! Hope you are having a great Monday.

It was a full Monday. I didn't stop until bedtime.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

We missed you guys, but Disney time is precious, so we were happy to know you were doing what you needed/wanted to be doing at that time. We always have good intentions of meeting people, but it doesn't always work out for them or for us. You just have to figure paths will cross again eventually. :thumbsup2

Wonder what decision she will make? :)

I have not gotten out one Halloween thing yet. I need to put something in the classroom, at least. We have Trunk or Treat at church this weekend, so I guess I will get to it then.

I always love going shopping with you! :goodvibes Those candy boxes crack me up. The pillows are great too!

I enjoy taking merchandise pictures. I like to look at them myself again when I put them on the reports.

Thanks! :goodvibes I didn't think they would be so inexpensive! That makes me very happy!

They are not quite as expensive as I had predicted. :thumbsup2

Sorry for the delay in more pictures. Jill's neighborhood has been having internet issues, and she's got the next set of pictures on her computer. She may have access today. At worst, she will be here this weekend, and we can load them onto Photobucket up here. Again, we apologize to those who are still hanging in with us. If I had not misplaced the SD card, it wouldn't be an issue, but I can't find it anywhere. :worried:

Ok, I finally logged on to the website so I could see the pics better. Loved those little pillows, will definitely have to check them out when we are there.

Also, just noticed that the popcorn cart is Maurice's, will have to get a pic of Brendan there. ( he was Maurice in his hs production)

As always, loving the kitcheney items.

Hope your day was great, ours was rainy.

Yes, that cart is cute. I got a bucket of popcorn there. I had the CM fill it only partway, so the top could go on it right away. I really just wanted the bucket, but I think most of the popcorn eventually got eaten by my fellow travelers.

I always look at kitchen stuff, too. There are several different lines now.

Jill said the internet came for a short time and left. Again, apologies for the delay.

I am so thankful for our Disney community, and I love the 'take me away' happiness that Disney World give us. But, the real world is not as happy, and the world around me is pretty heavy right now. I know of several people who are going through extreme trials at this time.

- my 39 yr. old school secretary, who had a heart attack and then quadruple by-pass surgery last week

- a friend of ours from the kids' school, very active and so helpful at all times, he's about my age, or maybe a couple of years older, he has a rare form of pneumonia that has baffled doctors and they cannot get anything to work, in a coma now, and it is not looking at all good for him to make it

- the lady that sits behind me at church that I told you about a couple of months ago, in Hospice care now

- a teenage boy, a friend of a friend of ours, was on his way to preach at his first youth rally or seminar or some activity, was hit by another car, just announced this afternoon there is no brain activity

- a friend at church who lost her brother to cancer about a year ago, and now her dad is dying of cancer as well

- stasieki's friend who you saw a picture of a few days ago

- a DIS friend who is in WDW now, but she is fighting the cancer battle as well, comes back to a new round of treatments when she returns

- another boy that I just read about on FB in the past weeks, Lane, who lost his battle with cancer this past weekend

These families are going through serious struggles right now, and they are going to need an extra measure of comfort in the days ahead. It's nice to know that we are able to support these people in thought and prayer, if nothing else.

The DIS community is awesome for showing the power of prayer and good thoughts! I'm sorry for those around you that have suffered or are suffering. I too have some friends with health problems and I know the extra prayers from my DIS friends have helped.

So prayers on the way!:flower3:

I love our little DIS world. I've met some wonderful people. I will say prayers for all you mentioned and all our other family and friends of the DIS community
are struggling. :littleangel:

I have enjoyed getting caught up, seeing your wonderful time at Yee Haw Bob's and getting a glimpse of Mary's adorable girls who I had the pleasure of meeting last week myself!

Love all of the gift shop photos, one of those pillows came home with me. It would have been two but I couldn't see how I could get two home. I was very pleased with the price on it, I'd expected it to be more as some of the shirts and ornaments were ridiculous but that price actually seemed relatively fair.

Lifting all of your prayers, spoken and unspoken up and extra special thoughts for our DIS friend who inspires me daily. I believe in magic and pixie dust, and the power of lifted hearts.

It seems this last year has been full of so many friends (known personally or dis friends - friends) that have needed prayers and hope. Maybe it has been every year but it is just really hit home recently. I am sending all my prayers and hopes for a better time out to all my Dis friends and their Dis friends. I hope everyone has happier, healthy rest of the year.

Good Morning! Last chance to check the dis before work and then straight off to Indiana to meet up with the family and fly out to WDW! :woohoo:

I just wanted to extened more prayers and good vibes :goodvibes to all of those MeMom mentioned and to all who need it.

And I hope Jill's internet troubles are worked out soon! I'll be ready to catch up when I get home next week! :)

Take care!

I am praying for all of them.

I have not stayed at POR yet. I was going to book it as the second part of the March trip, but I kept telling myself that this is not the time. We're trying to do everything cheap this year to have money for the December trip next year, so I'm sticking with Pop.

Honestly...I have checked pricing for two rooms at Pop as opposed to one room at POR. (We are a family of five, so our options are more limited). POR is actually a lot less expensive for us. I know we won't be able to stay there forever since our little guy won't be little forever (and won't fit on that "extra" bed for long), but we will take advantage of it while we can. After that we will probably move on to the family suites at ASMu or AoA (which are more expensive than POR as well) or two rooms at Pop.
