I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

Oh wow, your Fantasyland pictures look great. I can only imagine how nice it was to be able to see some of the new areas while you were there. Everything probably looked so new and fresh. :goodvibes

That was the first time I've seen pictures of Gaston's Tavern, and I have to say I'm happy with the results. Appreciate you sharing them with us!:thumbsup2

So glad you had a great trip. Loved all of Jill's pictures on FB.

So excited that you got to experience Fantasyland when it opened. It looks like so much fun. I can hardly wait unil November.

Glad that you get to go back next year. November will be our last trip to WDW until at least 2014. We are heading to Disneyland next year for Thanksgiving. Tom is wanting to explore more of the national parks so we will start doing that in summer. May start heading to WDW in 2014 at Christmas time. I know you guys do that a lot. I think we would enjoy it and it would work with school. Our jr/sr high school is not as friendly toward students going on vacation as our elementary school is.

Hope you will do a trip report! :)

That would be fine. I don't know when I'll be back down there, it could be a month or more, but I'm happy to text you your options then. We can settle up after I get them, just in case they sell out before I make it back down. I remembered this morning they had Dumbo too.

Okay. Just let me know. :)

It was a surprise treat, and it was a nice last day in Magic Kingdom. pixiedust:

Jill may get the chance to go to Disneyland if John does some work out there next year. That would be cool.

I want to see national parks, too, but I am not tired of Disney World yet. We have talked about doing an Adventures by Disney tour, so that is a possibility for the future.

Jill found my missing pictures, but until she is ready to plug them in, I am going to move on. This is the night we were going to meet DIS friends to see Yehaa Bob. Jill and I knew we could go a little early and take advantage of visiting two resorts.

We went to French Quarter first.

Sweet girls making silly poses while Jill tries to take a picture.

We recognized Mary's girls right away.

June2012Part11036.jpg

They also had friends (or maybe cousins) with them.

June2012Part11037.jpg

Kimmy and family showed up. It was so nice to meet them! :cool1:

Bob came over to meet the crew of kids.

Bella was not so much into being up at the stage, but she enjoyed the music.

June2012Part11043.jpg

Anita and Marc and Jen came, as well.

June2012Part11044.jpg

The kids thought it was exciting to be parading around, singing, and dancing so far away from the grown-ups.

June2012Part11045.jpg

Kimmy's boy enjoyed the dancing, but from afar.

June2012Part11046.jpg

He never slowed down!

June2012Part11050.jpg

Bella enjoyed watching her sister parade around.

That's it for this evening. Hope you all had a nice day!

Love the picture of the girls being silly while Jill is taking their picture!! :rotfl:

Yeehaw Bob looks like so much fun! I've always wanted to watch his show!

That looks like such a fun night! :goodvibes That man is a great entertainer for sure! Looks like the kids had a blast! And I love your POFQ pictures! I love that place, it is so peaceful! Definitely my favourite place I've stayed (so far).

:yay: sunnystace....you have only 9 sleeps to go!!! Your's in single digits!!! :yay:

I know!!
:hyper: :dance3: :hyper: One week from tomorrow!

Love the POFQ pictures! It's such a pretty resort (besides the scary statue things all over the place).

Yeehaw Bob seems like such a hoot! So fun!

That was our first time to see Bob. He is energy plus! The kids enjoyed the action - they got to sing and dance up close to the stage, and they had a parade around the room during one song.

POFQ is a small. quiet resort. It can definitely take you away from the chaos of the parks and give you a restful feel. The boat from POR/POFQ to DTD is a nice perk, too. :thumbsup2

Yeah, I'm not so fond of some of the things hanging over the food court either. I understand the warehouse theme, though, and I try not to be too creeped out. ;)

Bob goes on for hours. We only last about an hour, I think.

We'll have to chec out Yeehaw Bob sometime. We've never done that. Bayleigh would love dancing to his music. Hope you have a good day today! I'm needing Pixie Dust, as I have an interview for a new position within our Charter School system which will help out our family a lot.

We are all pulling for you in this job pursuit! :cheer2: Let us know as soon as you find out. :thumbsup2

Wow! Can't believe the small crowd for Yeeha Bob! When we went the place was PACKED! He is quite the entertainer, so much fun! That is a great place for a Dismeet~ we had one there in March. :thumbsup2 I got "homesick" looking at your pictures...we stay at POR when we go. Got another year to wait to go back. :sad1:

Hahaha, yup that's my Casen! He loves to dance as long as he has his own space!

Yeehaw Bob was so much fun we have gone back a few times since then! I now add it to my recommended list for family and friends when they come to visit!!!

More people came as the night went on, but our group was there early. I don't think it ever got full, though. I noticed a lot of people stopping in the hallway, listening for a few minutes, then moving on. If all of those people had come in, there would have been a full house!

I have not stayed at POR yet. I was going to book it as the second part of the March trip, but I kept telling myself that this is not the time. We're trying to do everything cheap this year to have money for the December trip next year, so I'm sticking with Pop.

I don't blame him. I like my space, too! ::yes:: Besides, almost the whole group that was up near the stage - girls, girls, girls! Really, going up there with the others was more for Brooklynn's age and up, anyway. I could tell she felt very grown-up to be doing that. Bella hung back. It was too much for her.

It's neat that you now take visitors to see Bob. Glad we could be a part of your first visit. Must say, I am a bit jealous than you can just run over there whenever you like. ;)

Well MeMom, your cheering seemed to help out. I was offered the position and they said they wanted me to start yesterday. Haha! I now have the tough decision to make as to whether or not I want to leave the classroom and take on this new adventure. It will be a lot of work as it is an Inner City school and totally different from where I am currently. I do have experience with Inner City schools, so it's not a BIG shocker. Right now, I have that on my brain and my upcoming trip in 6 days. :cool1: I have to go get ready, but just wanted to stop by. Have a good day!

Bob is so much fun! You guys were smart to go early, because every time I've been to his later sets its been PACKED! The girls all look like they were having so much fun! I wish I could have been there, DS would have been in HEAVEN surrounded by all those lovely little ladies :rotfl2: What a fun night!

What a fun evening with lots of great DISmeets! We had planned on going over to see YeeHaw Bob when we stayed at POFQ but it just never fit into the plans. Someday....

I love your pictures of the new fantasyland. It definitely did not look like that when I was there in May. I am so excited to be taking my friends 2 year old in a couple of weeks. Joe and I are really looking forward to starting our own family.... hopefully very soon :) There might be a possibility that I am going to be in Nashville in the next 6 months. If so, hopefully we can meet up.

That's a big decision. When I have decisions to make, I write down the pros and cons......

then straddle the fence until something or someone pushes me to one side or the other. ;)

Happy packing!!!

Yeah, we had a lot of kids in the group, so we went early and left early. It was a fun place to have a DIS meet, if you ever plan one. ::yes::

We had it on our list 2-3 times before we actually got over there. Seems like that is how we do things these days - make a good list and then knock out about 1/4 to 1/2 of it. :upsidedow

Let us know. Opry Mills Mall is a great meeting spot!

I threw coins in the Wilderness Lodge fountain this trip. Three of them were earmarked for specific requests, and one was for everyone else who needed or wanted something - babies, jobs, etc. We shall see if the coins and wishes worked. :)

I took a short break from the liveliness of the area to sneak off for some window shopping. This would be my only stop at POR for the trip, so I needed to spend some time in the gift shop.

After a little more Bob time back at The River Roost, Marc and Anita were kind enough to take us back to Pop so that we would not have to transfer by bus. So, that was the end of June 27th. :)
